Any issues with these Jettas? |

Similarily to Subie's ringland or HG. Or e46's subframe. But i guess those aren't really a joke LOL |

This link's got the info on the 2.0T FSI: https://www.shopdap.com/blog/vw-audi...-problems.html The DSGs also had issues with the mechatronics units - a lot of these were replaced under warranty. A faulty unit will make itself known through jerky 1st and 2nd gear behaviour... about 3k at the dealer. Don't know too much about the suspension and electrical - VWVortex probably has some sort of a common issues guide that can help |

Ringland is no joke lol |

not fun to work on my wifes newer jetta thats for sure. VW thinks they are like mercedes and bmw so plain obd readers dont work on newer models and you basically need to spend more for one specific to them. They also want you to pay big bucks for their "specialty tools" because they designed their parts completely opposite of every normal car. Why Volkswagen, i thought you were the peoples car. |

Ha! Good luck. I think my price range would be looking for about 150k more on the odometer than that. |
Man these things are getting cheap. I know it was discussed recently but how bad could the n54 be? So tempting at these prices. 996 Turbo. If I thought I could sell my C4S easily enough, I'd be all over this. Reasonable km at 123K, probably all good mechanically (I think Scan Auto has a decent rep?) https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/nvn/...493417683.html 2003 Porsche 911 Turbo (996) - $49900 https://images.craigslist.org/00808_...M6_600x450.jpg 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe Midnight Blue Metallic on Black full-leather interior. Manual Transmission If you're looking for the very best value in Porsche ownership, the 996 Turbo is the car. With well over 400hp from it's proven Hans Mezger engine, all wheel drive and a proper manual transmission it's a fantastic daily use sports car. This example is ready to drive having just benefitted from a thorough inspection and servicing. Please contact us for details. Documentation Fee $495 BC Dealer 40300 |
I like that one too. If you don't mind the mileage that is a good way to go. Forward has One with 70kms but it's $67k The market has risen on these a lot in the past few years. 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo Victoria City, Victoria - MOBILE |
I wouldn't shy away from 123K on any Porsche 911. The suspension would probably benefit from an overhaul at this KM if it's not already done but from a reliability standpoint, no worries. |
