belts, hoses, minor maintenance stuff and the car should be good to go.

replace struts with a set of bilsteins and you're gold.

i dont think the turbos had the IMS issue like the NA cars did.

TouringTeg 02-16-2018 08:02 AM

^ Correct No IMS issues on the 996 TT, GT2 and GT3

Are these actually this cheap now? Or fake ad?

Edit:Wait these never came in manual right?

UBC location, but the picture is from Edmonton.

Also, $38.5k is like :ahwow:

SkunkWorks 02-16-2018 08:55 AM

That MT Cayman is sick. I've driven my friend's same gen GTS and they're such balanced cars with an awesome soundtrack.

For 60k, that or an 1M. Hmmm...

tofu1413 02-16-2018 09:01 AM

better snatch up those NA cars quick guys...

those 718's sounds kinda like an impreza :lawl:

2012 was first year of the miniface lift - rear bumper valence is from a 2011 and older GTR and wheels from 2012 should look different. FAKE add IMO

Get excited when I hear a boxer 4 only to find out it was a Boxster:okay:

tofu1413 02-16-2018 01:13 PM

See it this way

if the 911 C4 goes 4 cylinder... its essentially a WRX driven backwards.

Make fun about the 718's sound track all you want -- I agree that it is lacking. Nothing changes the fact that they are legitimately fast though, esp in comparison to the prev gen 981.

Power is important but if I'm honest, most folks buying a convertible aren't really into them for that. Moreso the feels and sensations, eg. sound, top down, look, etc.

Gerbs 02-16-2018 01:36 PM

What are some super fun top down cars that aren't overpriced? E93 m3?

yep the new turbo 4's are fast and more torque.

but the overall feel is more rewarding with the NA car sound.

Update: Lol Qmx323 beat me to it.

snowfarmer 02-17-2018 11:48 AM

you are correct on that 535i sir!! That appears to be the “right” one for anyone looking for a fast mid-sized sedan. A few bolt on mods could deliver hp close enough to an e60 M5 with only a moderate drain on your wallet from the N54 engine, instead of the money gushing out of it as one tries to keep the S85 V10 running.

I want to buy that white 535i so badly! There is something wrong with me, I may need professional help!

damn price dropping fast.

performance package too! (LSD, suede steering wheel, two piece rotors, stiffer suspension)

vitaminG 02-17-2018 12:39 PM

Ya wasn't that for sale for 28888? I know that dealership, they have a lot of nice cars but some are rebuilds so I'd do my due diligence.

tofu1413 02-17-2018 12:43 PM

yea i think it was around 28k

if clean title, car doesnt look too bad and the claims are crazy i think this is a lot of horsepower for the money....

Just software alone and you have a 500hp+ machine! And this one has the much needed LSD as well.

vitaminG 02-17-2018 12:55 PM

Just got to worry about the head bolts and cam follower issues
