It's very subtle in terms on the badging, when you look at the V6 emblem specifically, its either highlighted in black, indicating run of the mill V6, or red, indicating it's a 6 speed manual.

Otherwise every other badging appears to be standard.

Ah, that's what you meant. Yes, the V6 badge would be red.

I thought you are talking about the red Honda emblem. Those only come with CTRs from the factory.

Nah thanks. Full service history doesn't mean squat. They are priced that cheap for good reason. It's well known that at a 100,000km mark, the major services rack up to the price of the car itself.

lol those v8 s4s are a nightmare. 6g re & re for the timing chain job, including 3g in parts alone. I'm sure most of us know, but the entire engine has to come out for the job. Genius Audi engineers at the time called the timing chain to be "lifetime" and shoved it all the way in the back to the firewall. Sure, the chain itself was lifetime but they cheaped out on the tensioners with crappy fragile components hence the whole issue

A friend of mine has one and although he bought it cheap, this happened (broken guides) about 2 months after the purchase. He did the work himself, but it took him about six months.

Not worth the AMG badge when you can find a newer E550 with less mileage for less money. Love the wagon but I wouldn't spend the extra.

Probably the same person saying why bother with a Subaru WRX STi hatch when you can get a newer Impreza hatch with lower mileage :lawl:

If the newer impreza hatch also came with a turbo 4 then maybe i'd consider it. ;) Then again, the STi has been a gigantic POS since the GR's came out.

Can we make a rule in this thread that you have to at least post a little bit of a description in addition to a link? So tired of clicking ads for mid 90s Civics with 395,000 kms mixed between NSXs.

Rebuilt title. It's the same guy doing private rebuilds and selling them off (you can tell by his ad formatting). Although he does the work himself and posts as a clean title, the cars are infact rebuilt titles.

Looks like he spent quite a bit on mods and tuned at a shop, could be the most fun car you can get for this price.

There is some guy that races this at autox in Pitt Meadows and it's a hard pill to swallow when half of the competition gets destroyed by a family station wagon.

westopher 02-24-2018 07:05 PM

They can take some solace in the fact it cost around as much as a 997 gt3 though.
