With the manual 08's, make sure the clutch has been updated when the kms get higher. Huge cost to replace since they have to update to the 09-12 clutch, which isn't just a simple swap. Can be $$$

That rear plate mount seems to be on every JDM car. That’s what I usually look for. Seems like a stupid way but I haven’t seen it be wrong yet.

I'd say most of the ones you see for sale are jdm, they're just cheap and plentiful over there. I'd consider it a bit of a red flag that the ad doesn't mention its from Japan
