Either way that's a good deal with the way the prices are on those things

I dunno...

Quick scan from my phone and it looks like a bondo'd basketcase. Case in point:

Pretty sure the 911 can be lowered on its factory suspension. You’ve got a point on the rest ;)

2004 blobeye WRX Wagon - high mileage but based on the description, motor is completely stock and doesn't leak anywhere, not sure if the price makes sense but if the owner is willing to sell for less it might make a good DD

Looks like some shots of the underbody have been added, the one really rusty shot from the rear looks like it's mainly contained to the rear subframe which isn't too big of a deal.

Hondaracer 03-13-2018 02:16 PM

I get that a lot of work probably went into that H22 EG, however, for $5500 you’re getting into either a) wayyyyy newer RELIABLE vehicles or B) BMW’s, and other “sports cars” which aren’t 25 year old franken Honda’s..while at a time they were cool the marker for that car at that price is very limited.

jsran 03-13-2018 04:05 PM

I feel like this is underpriced.. I could be wrong

westopher 03-13-2018 07:52 PM

FWIW, my mk5 was a great car when I owned it. Thats a great buy IMO. I'd take that over that e91 posted, but I have a sour taste when it comes to BMW automatics.

sonick 03-13-2018 09:09 PM

Mmm dat Abarth exhaust...

tofu1413 03-13-2018 09:50 PM

^ they're worth 5- 6k on book for trade in.... so there a deal to be made there.

as long as you offer the guy more than what the dealer is offering by a few hundred bucks after tax savings .... that thing is a deal.

Beauty car though!

Re: Collector's plates.

You can easily get "modified collectors' plates for that car. There is more than 1 type of C plate through ICBC. You can have a car with a brand new motor, drivetrain from a Camry transplated into your 57 Bel Air and still have collector's plates on the car.

Source: Have one.
