| 2000 Prelude SH - 156xxxkm - $5K
0 rust, new tires, motor/ clutch/ timing belt/wp all replaced. Says there's 156xxx on the drive train, if new motor, it'll be worth checking out what's the mileage on the motor and who did the swap. Defs a better buy than that shitty 7th gen that I posted earlier. 2002 E46 M3 - LSB - 6MT - 180xxx km - $24K
For the price of a stock one, you can have a LSB one with a stage 1 supercharger! Not a fan of the eonon headunit. Eonon is a terrible headunit, known to fail right out of the box. I'd strongly recommend to replace that.
Looks like the most important things have already been done, like the subframe has been reinforced, and VANOS has been refreshed. I don't know much about the S54 motors, but like all e46s, its important to factor in the cost of cooling overhaul that you know you'll have to do.

If the m3 is in good shape, buying it and selling that supercharger would net you a great deal.

Double hmmm No mention of mileage on the car. I hate it when people list without actual mileage
"only 156km on drive train (have proof of mileage)"

Needs OEM 19's | This car was originally silver, but repainted LSB, including the engine bay. So the LSB is not OEM factory.
This could be a reason why it hasn't sold yet

M3 is obviously heavier and more "GT" feeling. M3 maintenance costs are much higher and you lose the Honda reliability. Both are a ton of fun and more analog feeling than modern cars.
IMO both the M3 and S2K are good choices--if I were you, whichever you come across first as a pristine/good example PPI, then pull the trigger.

Any thoughts on the rod bearing issue? The only thing holding me back (other than cash...)

Had a throttle actuator go out, which is a common point of failure on the cars.
