This looks pretty nice. Not sure on pricing, but Celica GT-S w/ TRD package (aftermarket wheels, unfortunately) in what looks to be decent shape, so probably decently-priced I'm thinking. Owner said it has 200k on it, no accidents, and she's had it for 9 years when I e-mailed her.

Photos only from the one side and none of the front, which seems odd (would ask for pics of other side/front to make sure there's no cosmetic damage)

:awwyeah:

Unlike the Cimmaron, the Catera was all German 4Head

But really, for $1000, I wouldn't care if the motor blew after 6 months.

I've been waiting for the D15 in my Civic to die for the last 5 years. Whenever the oil gets low I just add waste oil from my other cars. :lol

VMR value is b/t 3900-5700 (IMHO, much more reasonable).

Considering this isn't a garage queen and parts are NOT cheap nor easily accessible for the mentioned problems (who knows what else is already broken), I'd skip this one. Sure it seems like fun, until you start adding up the special Volvo R parts and tools required to work on this beast.

Nvasion 04-20-2018 09:07 PM

this vehicle doesnt have the TRD package.

Holy crap that is cheap! That thing must have some massive dec's on it or some other warts on it's history.

ML55 Prices are dropping, they go for 6k USD in LA when I was looking before I got the Civic. I checked this particular one out, rough around the edges and Low Range gear panel was missing. Probably took it out because gearbox doesn’t work.

Only visible trd part is the badge at the back, and the front fender lol

Otherwise it looks like a bone stock gt-s with aftermarket wheels.

TRD version came after 02+ as a PANASONIC / TRD edition. it just as a body kit, nicer seats, and a better audio system.

Last year got the tsunami edition which was renamed to sport edition after the tsunami of 05 . differant kit. but similar idea

Uhh.. What I meant is that there are no visible trd parts on that car. Stock exhaust, stock springs, no action package or elegante lip.

JDMDreams 04-22-2018 08:32 AM

Got the car fax and it was from Alberta.

Edit: N/M I can't read

Speaking of the MR2, seemed Top Gear liked it?

Too bad it's auto. Needs some TLC but still a good price assuming the car is mechanically in good shape like the owner says.

These cars are a blast to drive, and absolute tanks. Long story short the only way to kill one is to jump it at least 25 feet and even then it'll only stop because the airbag system shut down the fuel pump for safety.
