It's like trading your car in at a dealership; you don't pay taxes on the value of the trade in. |

Competes with Skyline on the track! Yes, a poorly maintained GT-S maybe... |
pretty sure a light moded DC2 with some nice rubber and minor suspension.... can keep up wtih mild moded R32 GTR in low to mid speed corners! |
|
That Mercedes is a beaut... 83hp and 120lb/ft of torque though... requires a very, very patient and sedate driver |
For someone who doesn't do a lot of DIY's other than oil changes, will that Mercedes be a nightmare to own? Do dealerships or independent shops still service that car? |
For the most part, Google and a set of hand tools is all you need. |

However, the servicing you'll need to be doing won't be quite out of your skillset if you're already doing oil changes. eg. Lubing hinges, replacing interior switches, brittle old plastics, small gaskets / bushings etc. I'm *hopefully* buying a W123 in July and have been doing my usual Forum googling for common problems. Parts are cheap for this car and plentiful, as around the world they were mfg. by the millions. It is a simple car, and I know some things that are out of my realm (old, complicated Vacuum systems, turbo maintenance), will be dealt with through local specialists. |
https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/van/...593466963.html JDM ITR B18C swapped EM1. It seems a lot of quality parts were used. |
didn't know the s2000 cluster fits in the em1 |
