Gonna continue with the theme of posting good deals from Craigslist...or at least I think is a good deal considering the value of these.

I'll defend the '98 spec as it is rarer. Most(if not all) of the RHD ITR's around here are '96 spec. $11K is not bad. I wouldn't call it a "deal" but kinda cool to see one for sale here.

But an $85000 Supra? WOW, sign me up

If it bothers you so much you can always do a RHD to LHD conversion. Its not a difficult nor costly option. The only thing is sourcing the right parts.

And yes most of the examples I posted are good deals save for the fake R35 ad that has since been flagged. Just because you can't afford or aren't getting a steal price doesn't make these bad bargains. That Supra has over $130,000 invested. The car is literally an Japanese icon. The MKIV's like the NSX will never depreciate unless they are rebuilts/high km/bagged on

It's all relative. If I was a working professional making 6 figures which a lot of vancouverites are making then these cars are not only affordable but a great buy. People have this misconception that mods don't increase value but hate to break it to you THEY DO! You renovate a house with upgraded marble bathroom/hardwood floors/fancy kitchens the house is worth more. Same analogy.

This isn't the first account you've created here, is it, Shark Tank?

I like it but it looks like it has harsh rust.

Not many Miata's with this little kms, for the year that is.
Mazda Miata

I hate to break it to you, but a working professional making 6 figures wouldn't buy any of those cars... They are hardly a good deal. They might not necessarily be a bad deal, but they're certainly not a good deal (ie can sell them easily for a higher price)

That's not a bad deal at all. 94 is arguably the best year for first gen Miata's.

MindBomber 05-16-2014 07:48 PM

This is rough but a deal because the expensive stages in the resto are finished.

freshly rebuilt motor; rebuilt suspension; straight, rustless body - $7500.

This is a straight up steal.

older resto; original paint; lightly modified - $6000.

I think we need to re-evaluate what a "good buy" consists of. Some sort of parameters so posters don't blindly post random cars from CL that they think are "cool"

Then make 6 figures and lets see those "good buys" turn into money pits.

Show us the way master

Or, we re-evaluate the parameters of the thread. I would rather post vehicles that are cool than only good buys. I don't think anyone is reading this thread with buying cars to buy and flip in mind, anyway.

I love the look of this truck! I know it's obo, but I can't justify spending that kind of dough on another vehicle...

I hate this thread! lol

I'm just going to state my opinion that I think long beds are ugly and they'll never be worth anything close to what a short bed is so why pour money in one.

Not Craigslist but it is local and pretty low bidding
