Agreed, if it’s even a real ad it’s a USA car for sure... Canada was metric by the mid-70’s and Germany switched in 1872!! No way it’s anything but a USA model.

saw it in person, had some rust spots from rock chips on the hood. Anything to look out for on this year/model?

lately I've sensed a crack forming in my permanent resolve to hate everything about the E63 6's

I know this guy spams CL like crazy with this car, but it's starting to work. I like the look of this thing

Even the butt isn't bugging me as much as it used to.

one of the better looking Bangle era cars.

Too futuristic for its time.

too bad all the V8's are prone to issues

dark0821 07-22-2018 12:36 PM

^ lol... wait... if the V8 has problems.... does that mean you should go for the V10? xD I wonder how many M6 sold with manual....if at all

tofu1413 07-22-2018 01:38 PM

they sold V10 6MT in north america only.. so the V10 6MT will be a nice collectible car down the road.

but yes, to enjoy one of these, euro spec 6 cylinder or the V10 6MT will be cool cars... itll cost you a fortune to keep the V10 running though.

That’s a fucking STEAL if there are no secrets.

320icar 07-23-2018 05:41 PM

Have prices gone up or something? An e46 for over 20k does not scream “steal” to me.

I think it's a steal for Vancouver pricing which ≠ steal for common sense pricing.

The Producer 07-23-2018 06:00 PM

they've gone up for sure. tougher to find good manual coupes. 75 cents on the dollar doesn't help the acceleration of price and scarcity.

that's a very desirable colour too

i think it's well priced for a non reinforced car (I'm assuming it isn't)

Locally, prices for a clean coupe 6MT ranges from 24K for a meh one to 32K for a great one. 22.5K isn't a STEAL, but given the considerably low KMs, and the color combo (i think imola interior is worth 2K usd alone), it's a pretty decent deal.

I've been looking everywhere for a STEAL, but it seems like across Canada (and the US but in USD) 18-23K would get you a pretty crappy to eh one. Around 28K for a nice one.

For this one, I think considering it's an 02, I would look at the subframe being one of the biggest concerns. Iirc, 2001 had it worst, then as the years went by it gradually got better by putting bandaids on the problem.

(I've clearly spent a lot of time browsing LOL)

Everything car wise is so tied into the US, which, besides the systematic racism, sexism, gun violence, horrendous inequality, lack of healthcare, poor education system, pollution, etc, is doing quite well financially. That car would be 19-21k USD. Its also pretty damn low K. 2 years ago I'd just call it a car, now I'd call it a steal.

That's a pretty nice collection of basic go fast bits on that motor - sounds ready for cams. 4 door is arguably the most rigid e36 chassis.

double the price of a 328 yet half the price of a clean 4 door m3

I'd rock it :drunk:
