SC430!?!?!??! i cream in my pants everytime i see one float by Here's why 1) A reliable hardtop convertible if there ever was such a thing. We are talking about an early 2000's hardtop convertible that doesnt leak (only into the trunk and thats rare as hell), doesnt have any mechanical issues, and has one of the most stout and bulletproof powertrains ever. 2) its comfortable and completely quiet like a luxury vehicle should be. These things have one of the most amazing front seats in automotive history. Its plush, its padded, its very supportive. Like a japanese lazyboy. Hell the seats and leather are so good its on meguires leather cleaner! https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/l~8AA...mg/s-l1600.jpg Take a seat on one of the best luxury convertibles ever made. Its like a rolls royce drophead. Covered in acres of rich wood and beautiful plush leather while being almost completely silent. Ahhh how lexus has fallen nowadays. 3) ITS CHEAP. under 20k for a car that cost almost 100k equivalent today. 4) This engine series is one toyota's greatest achievements. The engine is so smooth and vibration free that it is one of the only automobile engines capable of aviation use. https://www.drive2.com/b/1790872/ "In 1997, the US Federal Aviation Administration issued a certificate for the FV2400-2TC aircraft engine. Which was built on the basis of engines series UZ. It was a 360 strong unit, equipped with a double turbo. It was developed in conjunction with Hamilton Standard, which developed an electronic engine management unit. The FV2400-2TC engine was intended for a light four-seat propeller aircraft of civil aviation." 5) last but not least, its moderately quick and i personally think it looks good with the right color combinations. If you want a LUXURY convertible get this. i just jizzed my pants thinking about the SC again. |
I just want someone to look at me the way BH looks at SC430's |
I agree with the Meguiars bottle where it says "Caution: Possible eye irritant" in regards to the SC430... it's just not nice to look at. |
I want one. |

It could do "performance" and look like this if you really wanted to. I'm sure some nutjob added a widebody kit and a giant wing. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...Fuji_250km.jpg |
Ok, I don't love SCs the way Badhobz does. I'd like an SC430, but my goodness, it's not like I'm obsessed over them. :inoutugh: :D |
vancouver SC430 market just went up 20% |

For the prices of SC430, LS430 are more attractive and way cheaper |
Except there are even fewer on the market... |
True, but the sc was the jewel in lexus's crown. The final version was even called the eternal jewel edition. Id trade my Maserati for one of these. https://www.motortrend.com/news/lexu...ion-halt-7293/ LS is amazing but it ain't a convertible nor did it have those plush ass seats. SC is just magic! |

My dad likes SC430 so I've done some research, is it better to buy the facelift 06+ model for the 6-speed transmission? |
Just a lemans motor in a c5, for slightly more than a stock z06 Corvette Z06 (Cartek racing C5R) - $29500 (Mapleridge) https://images.craigslist.org/00606_...r_1200x900.jpg |
Thanked last post mainly for not being am sc430 |
For the track enthusiast. I’d even constitute this as a race car :p https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/nvn/...657720538.html |
