Sold the M3 guy some tires two years ago.
If I recall he paid even less than that. It’s in ok shape.

TB actuators too. I don't consider either of these things to be internet myths - they are essentially required maintenance.
I want an e90 m3 badly - but I'm scared of them

Higher mileage isn't always bad. There's a better chance that stuff that could fail probably already have failed and been fixed.
Its more of a risk buying a car that just had its warranty expire. Around 90k - 120k kms is when things start to die.

For those who know, curious how long the rod bearings and tb actuators last and what replacement costs locally. Do you have to pull motor to do rod bearings?

I had my 2011 E93 M3 for approx. 3yrs. Bought at 20k kms and sold it at around 45k kms. Mine was a Dinan stroker and the car was super reliable. Only issue was the DCT tranny leaked which cost approx $1000 to fix. Overall, the car was awesome and super reliable. If you guys want one, get it.....as long as the key common problems are addressed, you are fine.......

S65/85 throttle actuators are pretty easy to DIY. Mine went at 60k, out of warranty, and didn't want to pay the exorbitant amount the dealership was charging.
Picked up 2 new actuators online for less than the price the dealership was charging for one. Followed the DIY thread on M5board and got it done in less than 4 hours. Changed the plugs too while I was at it. If you are mechanically inclined it's not hard. I'd rate it 5/10 on the difficulty scale.
Rod bearings are a lot harder to DIY. You will need access to a lift and you will be tearing into the bottom of the engine. I've switched to 0w40 oil for faster lubrication at startup. Thank goodness mine haven't went.
