Just check for frame damage and get an inspection with maybe a compression test for the STI.
There was a front end accident on my old 05 STI that had to replace front bumper, rad, hood and headlights, no frame damage and that costed just over 10g. Still a clean title tho. Sti parts expensive.

Engine light ON for the last 4 years but nothing wrong with the engine.
I am also a little confused by the ad -- from the engine bay pic, I am not sure if it has the 2.3L or 1.8L Kompressor engine in it. It kind of looks like the 2.3L version, but it doesn't look exactly the same either. At any rate, the 2.3L engine is a bit coarse.
that c55 has been on sale for a while, not sure why it hasn't sold
I'm not sure either, I talked to the seller before, car still seems nice. Funny story actually, I made an offer on that very car in January 2013 when it was for sale at Urban Garage in West Van. My offer was declined so I went and bought my old C55 at a Mazda Dealership in Maple Ridge.
^It may very well not be. I have a small hunch that it is not already sold because of the accident history. If it isn't gone soon, chances are it's already been inspected and determined the damage has somehow affected the vehicle enough to break a deal.
Either that, or the seller is just a bit busy and hasn't had time to have someone take it in for inspection. Either way, buyer beware (nothing against the seller).
