Kinda seem like a fake ad. The poster even said please don’t flag their ad but without any exterior pictures of what the truck looks like and a picture of the speed gauge with miles as the bigger font, they wonder why people keep flagging their ad.

I've had extended time with late models: CLA250, C300 and GLA250 (all 4matic) and I can agree with this post. I blame the abundant use of those damn turbo charged 4's they put in everything these days. Spoils the whole driving experience.

The C300 was probably the best of the bunch.
Not that it was anything amazing, but it was OK for what it was.
Main qualities were handling, braking (most had AMG wheels and cross-drilled rotors) and front seat layout/comfort.

Aside from that, the only people who seem to be impressed with these cars are pedestrians.

Funny, I just did my front brake pads and rotors and an oil change in my garage. Super easy and straightforward.

The only time I had to go to a shop was when my air oil separator gave up. Cost $600 parts and labour. Next thing to go will probably be the water pump and it will cost $1,000 - $1,500 at the shop. Other than that I am only expecting to fix normal maintenance items.

My experience is that the Cayman is pretty reliable (knock on wood). Had a 335i with an N54 engine before this car and the BMW was way worse.

that's being on sale for almost half the year.
it might get you some rights on future limited edition ferraris....who knows.
but if you're paying that amount why wouldn't just drive down to usa and find your self a "LA ferrari" at this point.

I've had my E55 nearly 4 years now and it's basically the same as a CLS55. It's been great, no major issues, and it has not been expensive to maintain. Bought with 58k kms and now at 98k. Sept 2018 - new tires (98,010km)

The 63 cars are good too, once the headbolts and or cam wear is sorted, they are solid cars.

Thank you for the insight. How much do they cost typically? Like how much is an oil change for a 63 if going to an indy shop instead.

Curious, I used to work at BMW wayyyyy back when... like way back... when E46 was the new chassis and we were parking X5's away from the building in case they caught on fire...

Back then almost every 3-series we sold, if it wasn't the highest model, the person would ask us to debadge it... do customers still do that? Always used to make me chuckle watching all these 320i's go out with no numbering on the trunklid.

but usually the just debadge them themselves nowadays.

I remember when i was lot staff, there was a lady insisting we put a 528i badge on a base bust E90 323i.......

and we see a lot of M badges placed on wrong cars often when they come in for service... so yeah.............. (dont forget the tri color kidney grills too)

That's funny because my wife's 2007 Camry had a water pump die at 52K, alternator needed to replaced right after, rear defroster stopped working and had major oil consumption problems. All around the 5 or 6 year mark.

She could not wait to get rid of that car and she bought the car new too.

CLA250... remember driving one around for an hour when Car2Go was still a thing (I moved last year and have no idea if it still is).

Honda Accord Touring money with zero of the features and a Benz badge with zero of the engineering and refinement. Acura ILX, as dated as it is, was better in every way.

Very popular car for the "Asian BBG" Instagram crowd to lease and post pictures with Starbucks lattes. Useless for anything else.

Maaan, prices all over the place, sometimes have an impression that i sell mr2 for too cheap, sometimes for too expensive.... Is it market on old stuff went insane or i missed something? Again, i can understand why NSX or Old BMW M and alpinas coast arm and a leg, but CRX and old BMW?

Both the e30 and CRX are top notch examples. There aren't many buyers willing to shell out for the best so they will be waiting a while.
