Not one, but TWO, 325is' come up the very next day.

What a piss off. Especially another clean red one. I saw the same thing happen with three Integra Type R being listed at the same time. The sellers were not happy either.

vitaminG 10-11-2018 06:47 AM

^ya but the other one has an s52 and full cage. I mean they are pretty different

Run the fuck awaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!

Traum 10-11-2018 08:41 AM

If you ask me, the A8's various collision damage doesn't seem like that big of a deal. The first 3 sub-$2000 claims are minimal, esp on an Audi. The $4500 front end collision is more serious, but if it was a replacement bumper, head light(s), replacement rad, a bit of body work and stuff, that's your $4500 right there.

!Aznboi128 10-11-2018 08:59 AM

a headlight is basically 2k already, I don't think its that bad. But it's an Audi... especially the A8. All the tech that's un-tested goes into the flagship which means shit will go wrong lol

Agreed. I don't feel they'd compete against each other for almost any buyer. The bronzit one is more of a worry for your demographic, but its not m-tech 2, and its bronzit (which only I love)

That was the concern I raised prior to listing as well. While those ITRs were somewhat different, having them listed at the same time completely cannabalized each other.

Albeit E30s are pretty commonfare on there now, it still irks me how 3 325is' are up within 24 hours of each other, no matter how different. Especially when I was told they'd do their best to avoid that.

Anyhow, we'll see how it does in the next 5 days. Pretty quiet so far which is too bad cause I set aside time this week to attend to any queries or viewings.

SkunkWorks 10-11-2018 10:10 AM

EDIT: I just noticed they featured my car on their IG. I guess they must've sensed my discontent lol.

I don't think the claims are the issue.. its this

Damn... didn't see that at all.

So GabAlmighty is right -- run dafuq away! Why would anyone even want to touch that at all?

If this wasn't a lemon, it sure as hell got made into one. I'll just say this: wiring harness... ... most of the time they draw power and signal from various parts of the car and they build up so much resistance from all the cuts and splices from the botched wiring job, that once the car is put back together where it should work, doesn't. That's why all those engine, steering, sport differential, air suspension, and ESP fault lights are on, the wiring harnesses are compromised.

Maybe the body shop left a ground loose.
Seen that one or thirteen times

I've seen the car a few times up close over the years and it's been looked after very well. I don't think he's put a ton of mileage on it either since I sold it to him a few years ago. Somebody buy it and let me go for another spin again :D

Any of you guys check this one out yet? I'm meeting with him later today to see but he dropped his price which is a bit odd to me

^ just pulled a carproof on it... Its clean (shockingly) and seemed to have been serviced at my dealer...

bcrdukes 10-13-2018 02:03 PM

How is the asking price for a 128i these days anyway? Is this used car dealership out to lunch? Or reasonable?

tofu1413 10-13-2018 02:14 PM

that one is priced well for the kms.

whitev70r 10-13-2018 02:23 PM

These are just rare, not a good deal on CL yet but could possibly be depending on what owner is willing to settle for. You may just have to offer him a bit over what dealer would give him. Damn ... his garage!

2008 VW R32, I'd say tastefully modded with coilovers, wheels, exhaust. $15,900

I can't imagine a dealer would pay too much for an "08 with pretty much 200,000 km on the odometer. I think you're spot on V70r, the R32 is a nice car but his price is a bit high.
