Spoiler!
My salesman recommended the towing package for our Odyssey simply based on the tranny cooler. He told us that the tranny responds well to the cooler in long term reliability. And he was right, as we had no issues with the tranny in our new 2011 EX-L model.

Unforunately we had a weepy block, and I had nothing but grief from the Honda service dep't. I ended up trading it in with 58,000km on the odo for a Toyota Highlander. There's nothing sadder than a Honda that is a lemon right off the lot.

Back on topic, I'm surprised these haven't skyrocketed in price yet.
Plus this one has 550hp with upgraded turbos, etc. It should be a fun car to drive.

Lucas electrical system? No thanks.

This is the Good Buys thread not the Goodbye Wallet thread.

That yellow Lotus Esprit should win an award for length of time posted on CL. That thing has been listed on CL Vancouver for literally years.

ticking time bomb with that weak transmission, hard to find expensive parts.
its gonna be a money pit with repairs in the future when things breaks,so many modern sport cars you could come up ahead with than that nightmare.

She’s like a hot girl half your age (legal) tho... you know going in she won’t love ya and will empty your wallet, but you can’t help taking a dip, just pucker your arsehole and dive in headfirst, hope it doesn’t cost you quite enough to wipe the bigass grin off your face before you pass it on to some other chump looking for a bag of troubles!

Hey RS'ers,

Hoping RS Detective Club could help me out. Would anyone know this car?

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...757598630.html

A friend of mine in Seattle is interested, but the owner is asking for him to wire him $20K without seeing the car. A bit weird, but hoping someone could shed some light on this car if anyone knows it. Thanks in advance.

Sent you a message. I know a lot about the car. The owner has spent a TON on it. Lots of maintenance done.

why would the seller not let your friend see the car 1st? I really don't know, but I wouldn't wired money to someone locally if I weren't allow to see it 1st and I don't care how good of a deal it is or what car it is (even if a jaguar e type for 1k lol)

Why not wire you the money and have you go check out/pick up the car? That way if anything is hinky you can just wire it back.

He even won't let me see the car without verifying funds first, so I don't think it's helpful that my friend wires me any money

You can't forget Pretty Woman either.

I remember watching this movie, and not knowing what I wanted to be inside more. The Lotus, or Julia Roberts
