If I could have kept my President, I had dreams of swapping in a manual tranny from a 300zx which marries up pretty well with the VH45. As if it wasn't rare enough already though... http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...0587Medium.jpg |

Thanks. Honestly, I just didn't want to put in the money it deserved. President Sovereigns are already really rare, and this one had a full Junction Produce kit; it was in great shape all around, but really needed the full treatment. Airbags, new leather in the front, full stereo etc. Plus being so low, I had to repair the front bumper a couple times, as it's so far from the front wheels, it was easy to scrape. My vision was to have a "Sport VIP" car, which is kinda my own style, hence the XD9 wheels, and the desire to have a stick shift. Maybe to even it drift it one day. But because the President is legit VIP, the only people I could talk to were VIP enthusiasts, who I just don't relate to as people. Kinda over "showing off" my cars, I just like to drive them. But overall I just needed something that was more practical, I enjoy having cargo room hence my current wagon. And I have ties to my Skyline friends again. Also, I couldn't have prepared for how much attention it got. More than any car I've ever owned. Too much for my liking. But it was fun for a while. |

Spartan, would this happen to be your video and car before you sold it? I remember seeing this, and it really inspired me to work on my vehicle back when I was driving a GS |
^Matter of fact it is haha...put it up on Youtube to help the sale, and never bothered taking it down. Then I saw it had over 10k views! I guess plenty of people are interested in them! That's cool to hear my video helped you out! You never really know the ripple effect of your actions... |
I really like what you did with respect to fitting your President with rims that weren't typical of the VIP scene. Everyone runs the typical Euroline/Vienna/Kreis/full-face VIP rims and looks really cookie cutter. Here was what my GS looked like a while back.. didn't like full faced rims so I got something more sportier https://scontent-a-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/...01015449_o.jpg |

I agree with the wheels, I enjoyed doing something different. I look at that photo I posted and I'm like "Man, I wish I still had that thing!" |
