Where do you buy your furniture?

We all know about IKEA. I'm looking for lesser known places that, if possible, offer better value.

Thanks

Sorry if this is the wrong section.

I guess if you want cheaper than ikea... there is always that liquidation furniture place that everyone keeps posting on fb...

Mobblers is right by ikea richmond

higher end places that i've bought things from would be cb2, crate and barrel, west elm....

the liquidation place with the tv show is a few minutes from my house. its in burnaby near the milk plant just off lougheed and sperling.

ive bought some stuff from there. its hit and miss there, items come and go non stop. i saw a nice table there that i wanted a while ago, came back 2 days later to buy it and it was already sold

but if your looking for furniture and not to stubborn on the name brand...then you can find some decent looking couches/chairs/tables etc there.

try Sears Outlet Stores. There is one in Burquitlam by skytrain station in front of Lougheed Mall. One in Surrey Whalley area behind TD Bank on 104th and King George.

As usual, you'll probably find greater selections and prices online

Or if you're not in a great hurry, you could always wait for a furniture store closing auction. There are usually a few of those a year, you could find great value there

Zellers at 16th Ave and 152nd in South Surrey has crazy deals at the moment because they're all closing down and stuff is getting shipped there to be blown out. Bay stuff included.

I bought 7k worth of furniture for 2k last week. Some of it has minor flaws, some is mint. Take a look if you're in the market. $75 delivery fee no matter how much you buy. Mine is getting delivered today!

$85 Kenneth Cole dress shirts for $20, dress pants etc. Actually really good stuff for great savings right now.
