This explains why I have been seeing blank posts with thanks on them... Adblock is eliminating gifs and embedded videos.

My suggestion as an adblock policy is to have it off by default, and only block the sites that have shitty intrusive ads. I get why there is a need to block ads sometimes, but if the site takes care not to have shitty ads, it shouldn't be necessary.

We only have a few banners per page, all out of the way of the main content. I think it's pretty fair

The text is super small for my rs mobile, I tried changing the settings in my phone/chrome but still no luck. I dont think Im the only one with this problem either.

I am thinking of disabling the mobile site completely... People should have phones capable of browsing the full site by now anyway, right? I started the mobile version back when people were using Pocket PC and Blackberry :lawl:

If that gives us the ability to thank/fail I'm more then ok with that!!

yea man that sounds like a GREAT idea if we would have the ability to thanks/fail on mobile and be able to use RS chat. Just hope theres no Ads, or if I could use a adblocking app of some sorts :)

Browsing with ad block off? I guess no more revscene at work then.

Sure a lot of our phones can handle it but it really isn't optimized for mobile. I find I have to be zooming in a lot to navigate and read posts.

Overall I noticed a good improvement on speed though!

Hard to say Skinny, I'm using HKBN 100mb and it's still a bit skippy for me on the loading.
That could just be HKBN though... and their shitty overseas connections

I would rather the mobile site not be disabled as I still use an older Blackberry.

I turned adblock off for RS, however, I had it turned on for some time. The ads in first post of each page in threads drives me nuts.

I'm loving the website now without mobile, minus the ads of course. The fact I can use RS Chat now on the go will allow me to kill so much time lol

Is there a way you can make the option available to those who still want the old RS mobile with a press of a button? or a option in the settings/CP like how some websites are doing? but keep it the way it is now by default?

As for the first post ad.. well that's the one that makes up the majority of the ad income so it has to stay :\

Even on my G2 the full site is highly inconvenient. Sure you CAN scroll and zoom all over the place, but it's a PITA to really read anything.

I'm on another vBulletin site that has a really kick-ass mobile theme, maybe you just need a better one?

We're probably going to switch to xenforo anyway, so there's not much point in investing too much into a new theme. This would work well on mobile, with no need for a seperate theme or app

Please turn the mobile off. I hate having to email pictures to my PC before I can upload them on here.

I get that too on mobile, I usually just back tab outta chrome on my phone and refresh, works better than trying to hit new posts

lol soon as I downloaded it, I realized it was a POS and asked for a refund from Google. This was 2-3+ years ago though
