With cocksuckers like Drake owning them, I'd say no.
As for all the talk about them getting totalled, these cars DON'T get totalled. Cars like this and the f40 will be rebuilt under any circumstances short of them being melted in a volcano. The cost of custom fabwork will basically never outweigh the value of the car, so people/the manufacturer will always find a way to keep them on the road.

Agreed!

To echo Memphis Raines' sentiments: ".....too many self-indulgent wieners...with too much money"

I would say prior to this, one of the most expensive cars has to be Chris Evans' Ferrari 250 California, for which he paid 5.5 million pounds.

One of the best looking cars I've ever seen in my life.

Great episode here:

Guess Mario had to pay for Marco's coke habit somehow

Bugatti Veyron vs McLaren F1 - Top Gear - BBC - YouTube

There are more stories to this.

They actually had to try like 10 times until Veyron could actually win.
So McLaren F1 was beating Bugatti Veyron 9 times in 1/4 mile prior to this.
You can find more articles on Google.

I think McLaren and Bugatti are no competition in terms of their accomplishments and heritage.

McLaren is very well known for working with Honda F1 Team and Ayrton Senna.
They have entered numerous races, JGTC, Super GT, LeMans 24, etc.

Sure Bugatti makes something that goes fast on street. But Veyron nor EB110 were never successful in any high performance races. They're also only good for doing straight line for a few minutes til gas runs out.
Moreover, EB110 and Veyron could never run fast on Nurburgring, so it's a straight line performance only.

I think Bugatti is worse than Lamborghini in terms of motorsports history.
At least Lamborghini has entered FIA GT Championship, JGTC, Super GT and was an engine supplier for Lotus F1 Team.

There's no history behind a Veyron, nothing. Even the whole idea of the car was get engineering it doesnt hold a candle to the F1 imo and i'm not even a fan of the F1

Veyron was supposed to be an airplane inspired car.
They used extensive aircraft technology.
Which is funny, Bugatti doesn't even have a tad bit of aviation background. :suspicious:

It's not like Saab, Mitsubishi, Honda, Kawasaki, Roll Royce, Subaru, Mercedes, BMW, Fiat, Renault, etc.

The standard Veyrons price is going to go down not up like 99.9 percent of the cars out there. There are way too many of them. a Number of people own multiples of them.

Way too many? :suspicious:

There's only 407 built so far, and they say that they will only built 450 and that's it. (Initially they said 300 will ever be built and that's it but who knows if they're gonna increase the production)
I found this funny because Bugatti is losing something like $6 million when they sell each Veyron. (if they sell it at $2 million or so, because the cost to build Veyron is like $8+ million)

Anyways, Ferrari has produced 1,315 units of F40s. Which is quite a bit more than Veyron, yet it's holding up the value by quite a bit.
MSPR for F40 was approx. $400,000 and the average value of F40 is $1.6 million now.

Here is one for 1.2 million. Even if it doubles in price 20 years from now you will not break even. Also the F40 is a Ferrari a company that has a huge history. You pay a big premium for that.
