| Needed 50mm Hex Crank Pulley Removal Tool ASAP
I'm in the middle of doing a timing belt on a 2003 Civic and didn't realize I needed a special tool to remove the pulley. I'm in Cloverdale in Surrey if anyone has one of the tools and a long breaker bar to attach to the special tool to lock it and can borrow it for the day please message me ASAP.
I realize Lordco has them but they are $75 and I don't feel like dropping that much money on a tool which I'll use once, on a friends car to boot.

Do you not have a pneumatic impact gun that can get it off?
If so, check CT and see if they loan them out.

No I don't, i don't have an airtank either. I just removed the starter going to see if I can lock the flywheel somehow.

Some guys use a chain style vise-grip from what I've read.
Can't remember what direction the crank turns but if it's clockwise, theoretically, you can bump the starter with the socket/breaker bar pinned. Just make sure the distributor is unplugged. (Do this at your own risk though)

My understanding is you cannot bump start these civics as crank does turns counter clockwise and breaker bar placement will just tighten it...
I own the same Gen civic and you will need either a big impact gun (either a snap on 1/2 impact or a 3/4 gun) or that tool to hold it in. I removed the crank at home, but I had to borrow that tool from my old dealer. If you do manage to get a hold of it, you're gonna have to position a jack stand under your extension to support it, and the biggest cheater bar you can find and jump on that fucker to get it off. I caved and bought one from Lordco. I hate jimmy rigging shit and they gave it to me for $45 so not the end of the world.

Just remember, they recommend using a new bolt and there's a certain way to tighten it.
XX ft/lbs and then xx degrees.
