| Star head bolt issue
I have a star head that I want to take out. Problem is, the star on the bolt is worn out, like shredded away and now there is just a circle indentation. How do I get it out?

Take a pic of it and lets see how bad it is. Choices are drill it out, or depending how soft the metal is, use a file or blade to make a slot in the head and then use a flat head to get it out or as above, if you've got one, the bolt extractor.

Depending on how much room you have
and tools you have one hand.
Cut a slit on the head and use a flat head screwdriver
If its a countersunk head (flush) try to chisel it
out in a counterclockwise direction

If it's not a countersunk head, can you grab it with some vice grips? The above posted bolt extractors work a lot of the time. About 12 bucks at Canadian Tire.
