I want to but I don't know if my CRX can handle the drive down and I may not be able to get the day off from work.

I signed up for the beginner group because I don't know the track at all, so perhaps you'll be instructing me.
A good buddy of mine already 'reserved' (I don't know if that is the correct term in this situation... but whatever) me for the day. I believe he's also in the beginner group but if you see me around I'd be more than happy to jump in with anyone!!
I might. I spoke to the organizer, and it seems like with the way things are shaping up, there should be gobs of seat time available.
having an inner monologue there? hehe... wished I planned out this year a little better. Monday ridge days are the best, gives you the Saturday to prepare and the Sunday to relax and drive down.
I'll be coming July 4th... traffic is going to be crazy
Got the ITR back from the body shop a third time and it still looks like poo dick. Gotta get another shop to appraise the repairs from the shitty work and submit to ICBC for approval. Once approved then I can use that shop to fix it hopefully once and for all. Still a long road ahead I fear.

First ever track day at Mission is in the books. Had tons of fun today with a few other RS members (duy, Santofu, Grim) and learned a lot more than I thought I would from my instructor. Addressed my weaknesses and throughout the day, slowly improved at it and felt more confident getting closer to the walls.
Was really happy with the car and enjoyed every single thing about it. Even the Prius tires! Hope to see you regulars in the future

time to make it out to the ridge - esp for july 4th
Holy fuck that was an amazing day. We got 7 25 minute sessions on the track yesterday. Only two run groups, our group would come off at 10:55am for example, and we'd be back out at 11:30am. Insane! Youtube is processing the GoPro upload... 352 minutes remaining however.
I must say though... The drive home was seriously awesome. A few of us decided to head up the coast on 101 to the Port Angeles ferry terminal and catch a boat over to avoid Seattle traffic, so we "cruised" up the 101, (). I was in front of an '07 Corvette Z51, and behind a 2011 BMW 1M. Quite a fun drive!
(on the track of course) I found out I can pull more or less door to door with the 1M up to about 180km/h, where he begins to pull away quite easily. Car was ROCK solid. Zero issues. No matter how hard I drove it, it was unflappable. Only small issue I had was under heavy braking into T1 from ~215km/h to 160 the brakes were getting really unhappy near the end of the day. Can't complain however, the car wasn't exactly designed to be ragged on, on a track.
We got to Port Townsend and missed the last boat of the night... Woops. Now faced with having to drive three hours south to Seattle, then northbound we decided to try to make the 9:20pm Ferry from Kingston... Well... We made it.
