From what I know, most Fido retailers have not received any devices yet. They will receive a drop shipment tomorrow morning and even then, Fido is limited to how many they're sending out (couple hundred being sent out for pre-orders tomorrow.)
That being said, I am number 301 in line and it's safe to say that I will NOT be receiving my phone tomorrow or the day after.
Personal preference. Some people like to have the newest products. Others have been waiting for a new phone for a very long time as their phones are on the fritz. Some just like the excitement of a new device.
To each their own. I for one, always like having new products as they release, if I can afford them.

That's ABSOLUTELY not true. Although his chances will be slimmer and perhaps he will have to be a little more diligent, but he should have no problem if he's motivated to get an iPhone 6 before October. Yes, I realize that's only a few weeks from now but still, there are plenty of stores all over the country and plenty of opportunities for people to walk in and pick up a device.
Even though they're separating the reserve line from the walk in.
I see it being an effing gong show. Long waits with employees and customers setting up their phones.
Walk in buyers i suggest you avoid it all together. Stay in this thread and you'll find random stores having stock.

Nope. Each store will have stock set aside for reserve and pick up orders and walk in orders. There will be 2 separate lines as well to help expedite the process.

Initial email already states that your phone is reserved and you just need to show up at the specified time with your ID
That's what I thought but people on MacRumors are saying that their should be another email stating that your phone is ready for pickup. Maybe it's just for the states.

That's what the initial email already said. Just show up during your time slot lol
drove by oakridge after and not a single person in site, turns out oakridge was nice enough to open up the gym for everyone to wait inside
