That's the catch-22 with keeping the 6/6+ a secret. Developers know about things like extensions or other features from WWDC, but without knowing specific details about new screen sizes/resolutions they can't modify their Apps until after the announcement.

As usual, though, developers are pretty damn quick with updates. Last year there were already Apps taking advantage of the 64bit A7 within the first week.
