It's thin as fuck and the guy is shaking to apply enough force to actually bend it :/
This.

Why should they be concerned? Because some guy looking for clicks makes a video showcasing some imaginary problem?
Now if you want to see a lot of bent phones, just Google "xperia z1 bent" or "xperia z2 bent" and click on images. There's tons of people who've bent these phones through "normal" use in their pockets. Yet somehow Sony has escaped mass media coverage for manufacturing a supposedly "defective" phone.

This clickbait video was prompted by hundreds of iphone 6+ users reporting bent phones... I bet if people here look at their iphone 6+ in a few weeks, they'll see the same thing (presuming everyone hasn't traded it for the normal 6 by then)

I did. There were 2 or 3 results, from people who obviously sat on their phones.

Found a iPhone 6 64GB but on contract only. Has anyone successfully went in and just bought the phone outright even when reserving with a contract?

When I got there same thing happened to me, I was asked "contract or outright". I explained I reserved under contract but might purchase outright due to ineligibility. She said okay and paired me with an associate. He then asked me again and started telling me I had to buy out my contract. So I said I would just purchase it outright. At that point he said, "yeah you could do that too, that's probably better, easier too".
This was at the Pacific Centre location, last Friday during my 6-7pm time slot.

Had a bit of trouble at RC today. The reservations guy at the front told me that I can't purchase it outright since I reserved it as contract. He said that "each carrier has a certain allocation etc". I told him to ask his manager and his manager said "It's fine, just sell it to him"
the widespread bent phones is pretty nuts...i guess that's what happens when you have literally millimeters of aluminum...a mass recall doesn't seem likely but I wonder how it'll be solved

Don't worry, the iPhone 6+S will be unbendable and won't have those ugly stripes on the back, and the lens will be flush.. Get ready to pay another $3000 for a new contract!
If you are planning to resell your ip6 to those Chinese and Hongers, you can forget about it now. The ip6 128gb price has dropped below retail price lol
You can still make approx $350 from ip6+ 128gb gold.

You're an outright liar. Hundreds of bent iPhone 6's? Please provide a link to these hundreds. I can't seem to find them and even at Apple Support there's not that many.
And 2-3 results for the Xperia? More lies. I just did the search again and counted 10 different phones in a few seconds of looking (different as in a different bend points, different users).
Is this all you can do now? Resort to lying because you lack the facts to support an argument?

A number of users across various forums, sites and Twitter have reported – and pictured – that their phones have become warped after they sat or bent down with them in front and rear trouser pockets.
The reports come just after an insurance company claimed that the new iPhones are the most robust ever – though its tests didn’t include bending.
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus chassis is milled from a solid piece of aluminium alloy whose composition is secret. The weak area of the phone appears to be around the volume buttons, where the frame is at its thinnest and creates a fulcrum point around which the phone bends. Surprisingly, the screen does not break when the phone bends – though it does if the phone is then bent back to a flat profile.
Apple is not the first to have the problem of a large-screened metal-framed smartphone bending under use. Sony’s Xperia Z1, which had a 5in screen and a metal frame, saw users complaining that they bent in pockets, while Samsung Galaxy S4 users had similar complaints, as did BlackBerry Q10 users.
The exact number of iPhone 6 users affected is unknown. The Guardian found dozens of people on Twitter whose iPhone 6 or 6 Plus had bent – though there are also hundreds more echoing news reports and the pictures put up by those who have been affected.
Previous iPhones, including the iPhone 4, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S, have suffered from bending, with users complaining about the problem in 2010, 2012 and last year via Apple’s official internet forums.
