I have 3 of the new style apple phone and tablet charger cords (1 for truck, 1 for bedroom, 1 for computer room) and have never had an issue with them. Are people swinging their shit around like nunchuks? I don't get it. Bending their cords at 90 degree angles?
Same thing as a kid, I never understood how some friends NES controllers had torn cords.

I have gone through about a dozen of them in the past 2 and a half years, I don't know what happened all of a sudden they stop working or they break off exposing the wires.
so is anyone else going to get one of these? i think i might. my phone is a 64gb model and i still have 36gb free so theres no point in going balls out with storage. ill just save some money and get the 32gb one.
extra battery life and storage for the fucking win!!

Thanks to Mophie, poor battery life and low storage are a thing of the past.
At CES last year, the accessory maker unveiled its Space Pack product that offered iPhone 5/5s users up to 64GB of extra storage in addition to extended uptime with a 1700mAh battery pack. Mophie has now launched the Space Pack for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPad Mini. The cases promise “100% extra battery life,” along with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of storage, with its 3300mAh battery, which translates into watching 11 hours of video.
To add content, users transfer documents, files, music and movies through the Mophie desktop app, which communicates wirelessly with the iPhone or iPad.
Space Pack pre-orders are now available, starting at $150 (USD) for the 32GB version, rising to $200 for the 64GB and $300 for the 128GB models; the iPad mini version of the Space pack starts at $199 (USD).
Mophie expects to start shipping the cases in “late May.”
I have a Space Pack for my 5s. Pretty cool, except I don't use mine anymore. If anyone wants to take it off my hands let me know, it's in decent condition.
Keep in mind, the storage in the case is only accessible through an app. It does not actually add internal storage to your phone, just like every other storage accessory for iPhones.

I want one for my ipad air for my trip! I can put so much more movies on them! I purchase the app AVPlayerHD basically with it you can upload your own TV shows and movie to your ipad/iphone and watch them through the app. It will be really useful on trips when you are bored on the plane you can watch your own movies with more battery life. Sadly they only have them for iphones and ipad mini.
Sometimes we tend to be in despair when the person we love leaves us, but the truth is, it's not our loss, but theirs, for they left the only person who couldn't give up on them.
Make the effort and take the risk..

What kind of tempered glass protector do you guys recommend?
My son wrecked both my wife's iPad Mini and iPhone...
Now that we have replaced both, I want something to protect them as the old film screen protector isn't up to the abuse.
the zagg one seems to be thinner and the edges r more "rounded", but they seem to ba very prone to chips arnd the edges. mine chipped in a few different places along hte buttons and speaker, got a free replacement from zagg, and again it chipped within 2 days. i did not drop the phone or hit anything, just in and out of pocket. the edges seems to get caught on my jeans n crack
the phantom glass one seems to be a tad bit thicker and a bit more durable, but quality seems to be slightly under what zagg has to offer

For tempered glass I just go to E-bay and purchase the cheapest ones. I don't feel there is much difference other than some are 2.5d round edge and some are .30mm think vs .26mm.
I should clarify, my son wrecked the screen/glass on both. Our current smart-case knock-off seems to be doing its job and never had any problem except getting dirty. Thus, if possible, I don't want a hulkbuster case. However, the screen protector isn't up to the task when my son decided to smash the screen against something else.
I read some good thing about icarez and they seemed to be cheap enough (8~15 with amazon prime), anything else that falls in that range with good quality?
So i shattered my 6's screen last night, made an appointment at coquitlam center today for apple care..
Kind of a fucking joke apple care is.. so i pay the $103 initally for the extended apple care, then it came to $88 with taxes for the screen fix. I was under the assumption they would just give me a replacement phone but no, they took the phone and fixed it over 2 hours i had to wait.
Thing that kinda pisses me off is that if i didnt have apple care and only had the regular warantee, a screen replacement is only $124.. So essentially, the Applecare+ is only really covering you for water damage..
As well, if i had known i was just going to get a new screen, i probably should have just tossed my phone in the sink and got water damage and got a complete replacement instead..

if there were scratches on the unit generally they would replace the device. I perfer the display that way I don't have to sync all the stuff back on and what not.

Do it when your apple care is about to expire. If they don't have inventory for your phone they just give you the newest model. Of coz it have to damage enough they can't fix it IE a car ran over it or it was drop from a 20th floor and smash to the ground.
This is a dumb question but i want to know how to move all of my photos from my iPhone directly into my computer, what is the best way on doing this? I have already tried google and youtubing it and nothing has went well, I'm hoping you guys would have the brain that I wouldn't have haha. I have also tried backed up my files but that wouldn't let me get into the photos itself and I had use icloud but it only shows a small percentage of the photos. Can any of you guys RSers help me out please.
