You should be able to get into your iPhone's photo directory if you plug it into your computer and navigate to the specific folder
Your phone > Internal Storage > DCIM
You'll see a bunch of folders with weird names (i.e. 879SQXPS) once you're in the DCIM folder. Your photos are in all of them

Did you backup the broken iPhone 5 with iTunes? If so just restore the iPhone 6 from a backup.
But anyways, iFunBox could get the pictures from your phone. I don't think it can do SMS though.

Got my iphone 5s replace. Wifi on it have been acting up. Like it would stay connected but won't load any webpages, messaging apps like what's app and wechat won't load send or receive message, can't run a speed test. The only fix is to turn Wifi off and on again or set the phone to airplane mode for a secs.
1st time went to apple store and they suggest I reset password to all my settings and if that didn't work erease the phone and restore form a back up. Did that and still didn't work so went into apple store again and they give me a replacement unit. Seems to work much better now but would still have issue. I am wondering is it because I turn off background refresh......

Nvm got it to restore. Partially.... But the important stuff is there. Do you guys do anything special on the first charge for iPhone 6? Battery still pretty crap for me

cracked the glass on the top right corner of my IP6. got applecare. do i just call in and they replace it for me? or how does it work?

Just wondering have anyone use their Iphone 5s or Iphone 6 that's purchase form here or Hong Kong and got it working in China.
Went back to China last year with my Iphone 5s and I could only get 2g (most of the time it was on edge) so data was super super slow. I am not sure if it i because the iphones here don't have right band for 3g or maybe China is just really shitty and doesn't have have 3g network.

Yeah, data was the only issue I had when I used mine there in GZ - slow ass data rates.

They will replace the whole phone and not just the screen, correct?

I do have applecare+. | They will just replace your screen since applecare don't cover body damage. As long as the phone works...... so if an accident were to happen (IE dropping it 10ft or maybe a hammer drop on it and cause it to stop working) then you will get a replacement unit.

Thanks. My phone is going to have an accident in the near future.
Edit: do they have replacement units or will I have to wait? If I destroy my phone I'm concerned that I might have to wait for a replacement and have no phone for a few days...

They have replacement units in stores. If your phone is functional they will just replace the screen. You're much better off dropping the whole phone into water to kill it completely. After all, you're gonna pay the accidental replacement fee anyway with AppleCare+.
