I gave up TV 18 months ago. Obviously I'm not missing much.

It's nice to be awoken by the birds chirping outside my window, grab a cup of tea and sit on my balcony to watch the sunrise without a stupid bright noisy box behind me.

When I worked in TV and helped pander this type of shit to the masses, I found myself asking:

A) Do I blame the Production House for coming up with this shitty idea?
B) Do I blame the Network for buying this shitty idea?
C) Do I blame the audience who actually thinks this shitty idea is a brilliant one?

I don't think any network even picked this up, distribution rights aren't even sold. Thousands of these idiotic reality shows get filmed and cast by smaller production houses or basically just anyone with money every year. This just looks like some honger/mainlander wanting to give his woman some fame, threw a bunch of money into this to film/pilot it himself with no network or studio backing.

I think the only thing more idiotic is Vancitybuzz for picking up on this, but then again they are pretty much a shitty useless site, so maybe its not that surprising.
