Apparently cheetahs act like dogs. I've always wanted one.

Cheetahs are the only 'big cats' that are appropriate to have direct contact with in zoos without jeopardizing human life. At best, keepers entering cheetah enclosures arm themselves with very intimidating weaponry...such as brooms and rakes. Cheetahs typically flee if a human approaches them or makes direct eye contact.
