He is probably looking at this thread right now, give the number a call to see if it's real or not.

Bergo 12-01-2014 12:43 PM

I called the number he gave me. Seems like he is familiar with this thread, says he has the parts in question. Waiting for additional info and pictures.

Contact the cops? Can't e-transfers be tracked down by banks?

Denali20126.2 12-08-2014 06:15 PM

What was the number that he sent you?

Just gave some money for rims and tires. Tires are a no show

Sooner or later, the scamming will catch up to this asshole, and there will be some painful, bloody-hell to pay.

e transfers can be tracked down... BUT the problem with this is how do you PROVE that you never got the item.... Let me rephrase it.. How do you prove he never sent you the item... If you have emails and texts showing him delaying the shipment, good... BUT other than that it is your word against his... you can prove you paid him, but that is about it... It will be hard to prove a criminal offence (ie Fraud). Usually issues between a seller and buyer are better suited in civil court...

E transfters, Money Mart, etc are BAD ideas... those should only be used with family, friends, and during emergencies (with family and friends).... OP is a "victim", but people really need to be a lot more careful and use some common sense when it comes to money and personal information over the internet.

insane how many ppl this person has managed to scam lol wow . His crimes will def catch up with him some day

Brock44 01-25-2015 10:09 AM

Hey guys!! Unfortunately I was an idiot and also sent this guy money. This guy is honestly one of the greasiest people I have ever talked to. He seems so legit. Talked to him for months. Anyways. Not sure if this helps but I know he changes phone numbers often. His most recent number was from a 604 area code. But it seems that he has already turned that one off. I have traced his IP address via his emails that he sent me and it's telling me that his location is actually Redmond, Washington.. If you guys have any more info on this clown please let me know. I have nothing but time on my hands and I would love to catch this slime ball

mitch500 04-07-2015 03:29 PM

Glad i found this thread, I thought id register to say hes still around. I fortunately googled his email fox.racing2006@hotmail.com prior to completing a deal with him..

all the info he sent me was that he lived in Delta, BC... Never got his phone number.

Brock44 04-08-2015 08:24 PM

Hey guys, this guys is still around. He is using a slightly different name now lol he is going by the name "Brayton McDonald" now haha brilliant right? Change a couple letters in the name. Stupid bastard. He contacted me using a number with a 604 area code saying he was from delta BC. He scammed me 4 months ago and the guys is so retarded that he is trying to scam me again.. Must not remember my phone number or anything.. Anyways just thought I'd post this up and let you guys know. He always asks for email transfers and bank transfers, says he doesn't have paypal lol so be aware

Honestly, he's not that retarded if he's successfully scamming people using such elementary and basic scam tactics. eTransfer a guy you've never met and found online? Sounds like a real smart idea...it worked for him once with you, might as well try it again, right?

I didn't get scammed by him either but you can tell that he's getting brazen.

When he was trying to scam me, he wouldn't send me a picture of anything... not even a picture with his "thumbs up" next to the wheels he purported to sell me.

Now he's willing to send a pic of his DL? That's pretty brave. Not sure if he's really so confident now that he's kind of stupid. Seriously, if I was going to scam someone, I wouldn't be sending pics of my ID.

How do you know it's him? Have you met him in person before? How do you know he hasn't gotten his hands on another person's ID to send confirmations to his "victims." Come on man.

underscore 04-24-2015 01:44 PM

^ exactly, he could have that picture/ID from anywhere.

Berzerker 04-24-2015 02:07 PM

How about you contact the police and let them know whats going on. Perhaps they can help locate him via the phone.

Enough of you have gotten scammed by the same person that I would assume his wanted priority is getting fairly high.

Odds are if he's getting numbers off of RS he will probably see this thread and be super sketchy.

Berz out.
