I am looking at doing a California Canucks roadtrip in November.

Canucks play in LA on Saturday Nov 8 and Anaheim Sunday Nov 9th.
Along the way, I'd like to make a stop at Cafe Lu. :jizz:

Has anyone here done the California Canucks road trip before? I'm looking at the upper level decks at both the Staple center and Honda center. How is the view from up there?
I checked the prices on Stubhub. Is there any other sites I can check for tickets? I really don't want to use CL.

^Check ticketmaster first?

If not, they always release tickets on the day of or 1-2 days before the game.

I've been to both Honda and Staples Center for canucks games. Stub hub or razorgator works very well. IMO, you are better off spending a little more and go lower bowl. When I went to Honda Center, most of the canucks fans sat lower bowl so the atmosphere was great from there.

At Staples Center we sat upper bowl and yeah it wasn't as fun. Surrounded by kings fans we got heckled a lot.

Any other questions shoot me a pm.

-gonna be a good game tonight between the Habs and Bruins.

Subban's reply to reporter's question: " Our focus is on winning the game. We don't care about the fireworks".

I say the Bruins are gonna bring fireworks to this game. :woot2:

For the people that went, how recently was it?
I'm trying to decide if I want to pay now and get the tickets for sure or wait last minute and hope I can pick up some good seats cheap.

Look at the attendance record for both teams, last year both LA and Anaheim was averaging close to sellouts for every game, but that includes all the tickets that are sold and being resold just like last year in Vancouver.

End of Dec of 2011. At that time, Ducks game was maybe 1/3 full. Kings game was worst..maybe 1/4? But the kings game was on nye so maybe that was why there were a ton of empty seats.

I went through razorgator for both games and got the tixs about 2 months before those games.

I've been to phoenix, Florida, and Tampa. I always use stub hub/razor gator to get the tixs, not worth it to go all the way there then get scammed by scalpers with fake tixs. Even on those sites, sometimes you can find some pretty cheap and good seats.

I was there in november last year. most expensive was for the LA game @ 130 cheapest was san jose and anaheim which were under 100. might as well buy in advance at those prices

I've done stubhub for Florida last year and it was cheap, but then again Florida didn't have any attendance issues.
Checking Razorgator, both Anaheim and LA are all over $100 USD in the lower bowls.
But Razorgator is cheaper than stubhub by quite a bit.

Thanks for the advice guys. Now I just gotta convince the wife to pony up a few more $$$ for the lower bowls.

Dupuis gets crosschecked down in front of the net and hit right at the top of the spine by Letangs slapshot, he had to be stretchered away.. hope he's alright

Shark Club is a sh*thole with terrible food. Only thing going for it is hot waitresses. And they have the balls to charge cover after 10pm (not sure if that's changed).

Flying Beaver, Legends, Pumphouse, Original Joes, all better options.

Kinda odd though since the game isn't till tomorrow. Maybe someone will buy up a whole bunch and the sell out streak stays intact just like the 7300 that was at Sunrise to watch the Panthers. :suspicious:
