lol i take back what i said about the sabres earlier this season...at least they're kinda trying not plunge to McDavid.
i don't even know how a team can keep sucking so much without consequences...i kinda feel bad for the oilers and their fans. their ownership and management is so hell-bent on getting at least one of the top two picks this year and hope somehow that'll fix it a la Pittsburgh.

They were talking on the radio basically how the NHL culture and environment is a breeding ground for sickness etc.
Really the only sport where everyone is constantly sharing water bottles, towels, etc and then constantly getting on airplanes and eating the same food, playing card games, etc

Those poor Oilers goalies. Viktor Fasth blows a gasket and yells at his team mates after getting the hook in the second period vs. the Ducks. 3 goals on 12 shots.

Remember those old clear water bottles with the red lid and straw for you and your teammates to share? Then they said no more to those straws - rather than buy new bottles, coaches just removed the straws so you sprayed water everywhere but your mouth.

It wasn't that long ago that there was talk about Vancouver losing the Canucks in the real dark ages.
