This team played defence like the lousy Oilers. How the heck do you let the Rangers get a 3 on 1, 2 on 1, and another 3 on1 odd man rush in the first period?????
Miller had no chance on those goals. Although his play this season is inconsistent, I would not pin tonight's loss on him.
D-men are making bad pinches and getting caught out of position.

I was at tonights game, from an NYR fan standpoint it was pretty good although it probably would have been better and more exciting if it was a close game but NYR only comes once a year and the old man also wanted to go so it was good.
I had a good view of Zuccarello's second goal, that was a nice play
Flames and canucks are like female roommates...they are syncing up their losing periods. Looks like the canucks have a widerset vagina and heavier flow though.

Times like this I wish I saved the "I have the weirdest boner" picture
MacT is interm coach won't be much better. Oilers really need to fire Lowe and MacT if they really want positive change. With Blysma, MacLean and other qualified coaching candidates out there, not sure why the Oilers don't just hire one of them, its not like they didn't have lots of time to mull over a coaching change and possible replacements.
Here's the real problem.. Can't really get better if you keep the same staff
MacTavish

2009 - Fired as Oilers coach by Steve Tambellini

2012 - Hired as Oilers Operations manager by GM Tabellini
2013 - Tambellini fired as GM
2013 - MacTavish hired as Oilers GM

1997 - Retired
1998 - Hired as Assistant Coach
1999 - Becomes Head Coach
2000 - Becomes General Manager
2009 - Promoted to President of Hockey OPs
Howson

I knew MacT was gonna take over the bench as soon as he was hired as GM.
He needs to be behind the bench to see who actually gives a shit about this team. Everybody is underachieving as if they don;t want to play in the shit hole called Edmonton.

So MacTavish held "investigation" into Oilers & cleared himself of responsibility; then said EDM didn't need coach change and hired himself.
if you read the other things he's posting about the firing, you're going to shit yourself laughing.

1. MacTavish fires Eakins. 2. Fills EDM media room w/ donuts and fried appetizers. 3. Firing called "smartest move in team history" by media
