Bs. Should have had this game

Armind 01-01-2015 08:36 PM

Heartbreaking.

Hondaracer 01-01-2015 08:37 PM

not surprising, the last 5 games have been basically the same, get at least 1 weird/lucky goal, then try and sit on a lead

they did not generate anything tonight

Tim Budong 01-01-2015 08:37 PM

this meltdown isn't even surprising...

XplicitLuder 01-01-2015 08:38 PM

Holy fuck... And that PPG was such garbage for Miller...

no one is going to argue this one
ahaha

Not to shit on Miller whenever he shits his pant, it's just doesn't feel right that he's a canuck. We went from having a gold metal goalie to a silver medal goalie.

pastarocket 01-01-2015 08:48 PM

This team goes into slumps in January. -really hoping that they can get more goals when I go to watch the Detroit game on Saturday.

Nabatron 01-01-2015 08:50 PM

40 plus shots to maybe 16 let's be real here canucks weren't suppose to win this game anyways!

SumAznGuy 01-01-2015 08:57 PM

1 goal on 2 shots in the second period.
They played the third period in typical fashion, trying to run out the clock on a 1 goal load.

Sad...

:fuuuuu:

Don't hope for the Canucks to ever win again, please.

let's face it...we're at least 2 or 3 top six guys and basically another Hamhuis away from being competitive. We don't even have a top line. The Sedins look like they'll be done by 36.

the only positive thing in this line up is that the bottom six looks solid.

i said it last year, the Sedins as the Canucks main source of offense make me cringe.
If Torts was ever right about something, he was right about the core being old and stale.
I hated the Bieksa/Stanton pairing...not that the other pairings were any better but i'm pretty sure they were all in for the goals against.

Unless trader Jim gets busy, it's just gonna be the same old shit as last year.

Part of the problem is that WD is paid to win games. He sets the lines that he thinks will win games. For example, the last game, the Canucks won against SJ. So what does he do against LA, play the exact same lineup and have Kassian and Sestito ride the pine.
Last month they had Corrado up for a few weeks and he didn't even dress for 1 game. Corrado was logging big minutes in Utica only to come up and not play.
Sbisa dishes out the big hits but defensively is also a huge liability.
So is Bieska. Someone needs to teach him not to skate down the ice with his head down and forcing the puck on net and learn to use the forwards more. It's a common to see him take a shot from the faceoff dot and miss the net when they are on a 3 on 2.

As long as the team thinks they are close and only needs to retool, then they will always be the same. Yes they are #3 in the PK, but part of the problem is that they take way too many penalties. For the past 10 games, they were averaging more then 3 penalties a game.

And I agree, the twin's performance is falling drastically just like Naslund.

Also, I too noticed what Great68 noticed. There is a lot less chatter on here during game days as we did in years past.
Last night was game 36 and we are only on page 191.
Last year page 191 was Oct 19 against the Pens.

6o4__boi 01-02-2015 08:33 AM

lol Oilers trade Perron to Pens for Klinkhammer and 2015 1st round pick

sonick 01-02-2015 08:52 AM

Tostito on waivers

Nabatron 01-02-2015 09:08 AM

question for everyone on here! If you had to trade one player on the team to shake things up who would it be and who for?
