i'm hoping he doesn't go back to the tourney next year and sticks with the team
hopefully his game will be more complete by training camp in September
this year's pretty much a write off, yeah even if we make the playoffs i doubt we'd get past the first round.
basically watching this season for the lulz with no expectations, hopefully we land someone decent at the draft, and we make some good moves before the trade deadline.

Turning into a gong show for the Leafs, former coach Ron Wilson just basically throwing Kessel under a bus and former teammate JS Giguere commented on how the Leaf players only seem to be interested in playing pond hockey haha

I have always thought the Leafs would wait until the season is done and go after Babcock since he still hasn't resigned with Detroit and they offered him a contract in the off season also.

Next to the NFL replacement refs, NHL refs are up there in terms of the worst consistency and overall game management.
Some nights you can get away with murder.
Some nights two periods are played by special teams.
I mean for fuck's sakes, if that too many men wasn't blatantly obvious it probably wouldn't have been called.
Hate sounding like a conspiracy nut but I swear there's some sort of directive to not give the Canucks any pp breaks.
