Imagine a line consisting of Baertschi - Horvat - Virtanen in a few years

cdizzle_996 03-02-2015 12:50 PM

Sounds like Giordano is out for a while.. With a torn tendon in his bicep

XplicitLuder 03-02-2015 12:55 PM

^ 4-6 months I think they said

Tegra_Devil 03-02-2015 01:10 PM

damn, well so much for the norris. I can hold onto hopes that people step up and we squeak into the playoffs. Even if we make it in, i dont see us getting past the first round without Gio.

In regards to Sven, I think we got a decent deal. Sven just wasnt good enough to bump out any of our other youngstArs(see what i did there :P ). He will be a decent NHLer, but calgary has too many prospects/young Nhlers for him to find a place on this team this year.

I wish him the best of luck, he will have more a chance on the canucks to crack the roster compared to the flames.

and holy shit we are stacked for this draft!!

radioman 03-02-2015 01:14 PM

Shit news for the flames. He was having a career year.

......a career year that wasnt better than anyone else on the team

he wasnt gonna bump Guadreau, Ferland, or Poirier..and it wasnt fair to give him 4th line minutes. even mason raymond is a more solid player currently.

Sven will definately be a solid 2/3rd line winger, but i doubt he would have wanted to wait a couple years before we could put him on

oh yeah, and i guess Bouma is tearing it up as well

Jmac 03-02-2015 01:16 PM

Given our draft record in the second round, I would make this deal everytime.

Baertschi vs Mallet/Rodin/Sauve/Ellington

Good thing you got in, it is now suspended, the NO bet. lol, maybe BCLC realized wtf were they thinking offering 2.75 on NO for Torts.

Looks like they just changed the max bet to $43.

Slipped in because the minimized restriction.

So who do you think are the deadline winners and losers?

I'm glad Canucks didn't do anything major but i hope they find a way to get more picks at the draft.

murd0c 03-02-2015 01:49 PM

The Coyote's are the winners by far this year!!

Not really racist! 03-02-2015 01:52 PM

attempting to do some market research

anyone remember much Giants tickets cost back when we were granted a team in the WHL? like super early 2000s?

cheaper than the current 19.50/24?

6o4__boi 03-02-2015 01:53 PM

iuno, Sabres tried pretty hard and kept pace imo
if the Yotes had takers they'd probably trade Smith

Are the Canucks playing the Yotes anytime soon? LOL
I'd assume odds for Yotes winning are pretty goddamn good, i smell a good opportunity to make a quick buck.

Mike Oxbig 03-02-2015 01:56 PM

Buffalo Sabres are the biggest winners, making the tank job look good for a brighter future

Leafs are the biggest losers asking for too much probably could've gotten 2 potential 1st rounds for Kessel (NSH) and Phanuef (Ana)

6-3 Sabres beat the canucks

HonestTea 03-02-2015 01:59 PM

I think NYR are huge winners with Yandle and Sheppard

yeah i think the odds for Sabres winning that game was something along 3.77, i decided not to bet last minute

pretty sure a Canuck/Yotes game would have similar odds. I'm not missing an opportunity this time around.

:lawl: we play them 3 more times $.$

Makes me feel better about this trade.

We did get Demko last year with Benning.

those that missed the Benning QA from team1040 with Bmac, Don Taylor and Moj

highfive 03-02-2015 03:43 PM

Apparently Baertschi said he wants a trade or he's not resigning with Calgary.
