Not even close to being soft!

Virtanen is injuried and we don't label him soft?

So if we had traded a first round pick for Jason Chimera, would you be happy with it?

Because that's who we just drafted ...

FS1992EG 06-27-2014 04:51 PM

Your right. Maybe I'll have to warm up to Virtanen.

Grandmaster TSE 06-27-2014 04:51 PM

He has time to heal properly before he makes it to the line up, give the guy a chance, you think they'll draft him if he wasn't good enough

411ken 06-27-2014 04:54 PM

fun fact... Had we passed on Virtanen and picked Nylander or whoever else and turned out to be a bust T while Virtanen kills it THEN everyone on here would cry a fkn river and complain why we passed on local talent/Canadian player.. lol

it's a circle when it comes to drafting players.. we just never know how it will pan out.

FS1992EG 06-27-2014 04:56 PM

I got a new name for Toronto.

The Toronto Pine Cones. And Repping Toronto as Captain is Dion Pylon Phaneuf! HAAHAHA

sounds like exactly the type of player the canucks need, hopefully hell pan out

"He's got a complete, all-around pro game right now. He's tough to play against, makes things happen on the ice. When you're out there with him, better have your head up because he could put you through the wall

A power forward who models his game after Rick Nash of the New York Rangers: “We're kind of identical players. He likes to take the puck to the net. I think I'm a little more physical than that, I like to throw the body around."

fast and physical a good pick imo

I hope he's not like Rick Nash when it comes to the playoffs.

I liked everything you said except Rich Nash.

Not a fan of Nash, I would rather have Carter and I hate Carter with all my being!

EmperorIS 06-27-2014 05:10 PM

Should've drafted Wayne Gretzky IMO
