"That's how we've played and that's how we are and were not going to change anything that got us here" reporter is like uhh just to let you know Daniel and henrik are playing less minutes now then they did in the regular season willy - "that's not somthing were worried about"

...

Proud of a blatant charge/boarding.

Stay classy, Flames

Sometimes Bieksa's shit talk should stay in game, not blurted out to the media. He can downplay Ferland as much as he wants but he has been in no way irrelevant. If he really wants to downplay him, kick more flames ass.

Although I did like the scrap :) too bad he's got a fucked up hand right now..

Not really racist! 04-20-2015 01:02 PM

:lol meanwhile Higgins plays 3 minutes more cause he constantly gets hemmed in his own zone

Sedins play more shifts than any other forwards, but their shifts are shorter, hence they should play even more..

Sharks and Todd McLellan Mutually Agree to Part Ways - San Jose Sharks - News

Quote:

SAN JOSE — The San Jose Sharks (@sanjosesharks) and Todd McLellan have mutually agreed to part ways.

In related moves, Assistant Coaches Jim Johnson and Jay Woodcroft, and Video Coordinator Brett Heimlich have been relieved of their duties. Associate Coach Larry Robinson moved into his full-time role of director of player development at the conclusion of the 2014-15 regular season.

“I want to thank Todd and his staff for their years of service to the San Jose Sharks organization,” said Sharks general manager Doug Wilson. “Sometimes a change is best for all parties involved but nothing will take away from what Todd and his staff accomplished here over the last seven seasons.”

“San Jose will always hold a special place for me and my family,” said McLellan. “I would like to thank Doug and the Sharks organization for allowing me the opportunity to coach at the National Hockey League level. While we both agree that a change is in the best interest of myself and the team, I’m proud of what we accomplished as an organization.”

McLellan, named head coach of the Sharks on June 12, 2008, leaves as the Sharks franchise leader in wins (311), games coached (540) and points percentage (.637), with an overall record of 311-163-66. In that span, the team captured three Pacific Division titles (2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11) and one Presidents’ Trophy (2008-09).

During his tenure, the Sharks made six appearances in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, including two appearances in the Conference Final (2010, 2011) and played in 11 playoff rounds, with an overall record of 30-32.

Would having the Sedins on the ice more actually solve anything?

It's not like the Flames have altered the way they play just because "it's the playoffs." If the Canucks lose this series, they won't lose it because of poor coaching - they'll lose as a result of not having the players that can keep up with the Flames' style of play, not matching the "compete level", and making poor decisions at crucial times.

Plus an instigator five seconds later.

The sedins are the only one generating anything. When your top 4 on 4 players only play the last 20 seconds of a minute and a half 4 on 4, thats a coaching decision.

When the game is on the line, and you're not double shifting the only line generating offensive pressure? Thats coaching

the HISTORY of the last 25 years says that the best teams who go onto the conference and cup finals play their best players 20-24 minutes a game. So unless Willy is some miracle worker, the guy is going against virtually everything that has worked for the last 25 years.

This pretty much sums up the Canucks since the '11 SCF. I don't think our core has what it takes.

hahaha that's cute.

so since we play a normal line 2 games ago, which was absolutely normal, featuring the likes of "matt stajan", and tempers flare, that means they are the goon line?

just because englland took 2 of your players at once, one being your toughest guy, that must mean we goon.(no attempts to be dirty on your sedins btw all game) Ya, every hockey fight were a team gets their asses kicked in the physical altercation is the victim of goons. LOL, your statement is a testament to how soft Vancouver players and their fans are. You watch too much whitecaps. This is a mans sport of violence and skill. I think WD is the only man in your origination, he knows whats going down, its playoffs biotch.

Do you see me complaining about hamface headshotting bennet? no
Do you see me complaining about burrows hit on JH and then instigator on Russel? NOPE
Do you see me complaining about Bieksuck punching someone in the face that was trying to play hockey and wasn't even aware a fight was happening? HAHAHA, heck no, ferly made bieksa look like a tard.

Do you get upset and call for suspensions when 1 player, manhandles 2 of yours? Yes, you do. the boards are up in a roar. blood needs to be spilled. the nhl is against us, boohoo hahhaha :heckno:

TL;DR

So in the end, we send our average line out, they beat up your average line...okay

Your average players head hunt and try to take out our best players...okay

who are the goons? LOL

spoon.ek9 04-20-2015 07:04 PM

those fines are SPECIFICALLY for the gooning actions of your coach. oh, and yes, failing my post sure proves your point doesn't it? please.

yes, that fail is for stupid posts. I don't use it often, but I do save it for special occasions.

Many people even know that last 50K was just because of the outcry from everyone who was not a Canuck player and whom was not a member of their organization. Many NHL personalities were even surprised he got fined, that's how outrageous it was. lol

Once again, if you don't like getting played hard, dont watch hockey. Its tough watching fans cry bloody murder over a sliver.:rukidding:

I hear the whitecaps* are doing great, I would recommend stopping all NHL indulgence and start partaking in the wonders of soccer...it seems more up your alley

*I also enjoy the whitecaps, but they are a buncha pussies

Sentinel 04-20-2015 07:15 PM

Not sure if this has been pointed out..

But if you look at WD's coaching record and stats... Every new team(Medicine Hat Tigers and Texas Stars) he goes to, they lose in the second round the first year. But the second year, they win the championship.

So by that account, next year boys! ;)
