We are a team that blew up our core(finally) and are in full rebuild. Hell, we were sellers at the TDL and just picked up draft picks. The flames are much more impressive for what they have done, compared to the Canucks(it's a known fact across the hockey world, no one can deny that)
To say that our teams are in similar situations because of the standings shows that your knowledge is very small regarding how organizational structure works.
Beginning of the season yes, what your team did over the season was much better then expected, a bigger improvement then the Canucks for sure. At the end of the season going into the playoffs not so much the teams were pretty evenly matched and the standings dictated that.
I never said I hope the Flames get injured not sure where you're getting that from. I said it before and I'll say it again I hope the Flames lose and lose badly.

My original comment about cheering injuries was directed at those cheering that Ferland got "knocked out".
Which he didn't and gladly he is ready for game 2

Meh. It makes it easy for me because I'm more of a "hockey" fan rather than tied to one team. I like players, coaches, etc. Sure, I root for my home team and follow them closely but certainly don't get all butt hurt when they lose. They're kinda good at that, no offence die-hards.
With that said, I'm lovin' what AV has done in NYC and that has been a great success story last year and this. Go Rangers! I'd love to see the Flames put on a Cinderella show but with such a grim start it's hard to think that. But who knows, it's all chance and luck in the playoffs and anything can happen.
No matter which teams are in the playoffs, PLAYOFF HOCKEY FUCKIN' RULES!!!!
Either way, you went way of topic. classless Canucks fans are all over, yes, there are many that are good. But unfortunately many of you guys ruin ur image and make other Canuck fans look bad.
Yah Flames fans are soooooooo much classier right? Using their games on the red mile as an excuse to harass women and when Burrows got hurt posting constantly over multiple forums that they hope he dies in hospital, etc. etc. etc.
Why not just say it like it is -- there are a lot of people who are fans of hockey that suck... and that's true in every. single. city.
Checked out the CalgaryPuck forums a few years back when we had our run to the finals...some of those posts were more cringe worthy than the shit you see on CDC

Ovie looks to be in the groove in the playoffs this year. -already trash talking Lundqvist after that 128km laser of a wrist shot past Henrik:
Can you imagine if Washington and Tampa advanced to the Eastern finals? Ovie vs. Stamkos. All that firepower.
Not sure if you've been watching tampa bay, but the only player doing all the fire power has been the rookies, especially tyler johnson.
Stamkos has been almost invisible and probably playing with an injury. He doesn't look like a player that has scored 43 goals in the regular season.
Chicago is looking scary. If it comes to Ducks vs. Chicago, that would be a crazy good series. Both fight to the end, and are stacked.

Last year for the playoffs, stamkos was held pointless which evidently led to his team getting swept.
So far this playoffs, he has been very quiet. Maybe like 2pts max.
Be interesting if he keeps this up.... Only shows up during regular season?
