I wonder where Babcock will go...If he somehow ends up in Edmonton...damn.

Aside from Bob McKenzie today, literally the only people speculating that Matt O'Connor still has Edmonton in the fold are individuals from Edmonton's sports media. I believe it's just wishful thinking on their part, trying to ramp up the usual rookie saviour hype train they've been pushing for the past near-decade.

I'm more inclined to believe the dozens of non-Edmontonian journalists that have reported that Edmonton is no longer in the mix coupled with the fact that O'Connor and his agent have continued to talk with New York, Ottawa, and Vancouver. No such reports have persisted regarding Edmonton.

Utica's playoff run, I would imagine, has to be helping our chances.

Placed a $200 bet on the Perry Power Play.

Thanks for the heads up!

*edit:

Looks like I'm only in $100. The Power Pick is now gone for me.

I tried to find the power pick earlier, but it was taken down when I checked around 6:45, only a few minutes after CRS posted :(

Oh well, nothings guaranteed lol.

I find it strange though, when this paid out 1.4x and the duck series winner was paying out only 1.20.... for same out come. Playnow occassionally has some decent bets that makes you go place big money.

The getzlaf point winner over hurdler was a scratcher one as well, put some decent money on that.

placed a fun bet for rangers and canadians to win/parlay, 5 bucks to win 125 I think. Worth a shot.

CRS 05-08-2015 10:24 PM

Keep us posted, subordinate!

I know 7seven posts some good picks too every once in a while.

Powerpicks - He already has 3 goals, so essentially you are betting the ducks win. Which I feel is a solid bet.

Whoever came up with the odds must not have realized Perry already had 3 goals because it makes no sense to include something that has already been accomplished. That person and whoever approved it to be published online will probably both lose their jobs. Very nice find to capitalize on though!

Anyone else get in on Canada IIHF World Championship winners at 3.60 before the start of the tourney? I think that is looking solid

68style 05-08-2015 11:38 PM

I'm in London now and heading to Amsterdam, Berlin and then Prague... Will be there for the day when the semi-finals are! Will try and score tickets to the Canada game if I can!

That should be a good experience, the crowd and atmosphere during the Canada vs Czech game was amazing, even if you can't score tickets to watch Canada, try and catch a Czech game just for the atmosphere.

Who would you guys take to win the calder johnny gaudreau or aaron ekblad? Playnow is paying 3.30 for ekblad to win, I feel his exposure in the east for hockey writers have him a favourite.

I would take ekblad over gaudreau anyday

A buddy and I were just talking about that.

It's much harder to make an impact as a rookie D man than it is being a forward. We were siding with Ekblad as well.
