Cole Cassels looks very clutch, especially in the playoffs. A more physical, offensive shut down centreman, similar to Bo Horvat. Looking forward to see Cassels develop into an NHL player.

TBL vs NYR, both teams will have a player that was the Captain for the team they are now playing against, Martin St Louis (TBL captain from 13-14) and Ryan Callahan (NYR captain 11-14)
At the 2014 trade deadline
also Brian Boyle and Anton Stralman both who used to played for NYR signed with TBL as UFA's last off season. Should be a good series, hoping that Zuccarello and Boyle will be able to play, Zuccarello took a slapshot to the head in the series against the Penguins and Boyle got rocked tonight and didn't look very good.
Video of Boyle getting hit

TBL is a combined 6-0-1 against the rest of the Stanley Cup contenders this season. They went 3-0 against NYR as well.

So, I just happen to be in Prague right now as part of a Eurotrip I'm doing for 6 weeks... the atmosphere is electric here! There's an entire area near the town square that's been converted to a big screen with a beer garden and everything surrounding it... and of course anyone who has been here already knows about the vast bar/pub scene so they're obviously all playing the games. It was great hearing all the fans yelling "Cheska" and all the Finland fans yelling "Suomi" back and all the singing and whatnot... obviously they're all crazy stoked now because Czech Republic won... took this shot of the screen/crowd in the post game.
One thing that I found funny is that, well, duh Jaromir Jagr is obviously super popular, but I had no idea to what extent... like... we are talking every single time they even show him on the screen, every single person cheers hahaha... he's a GOD here.
Going to be crazy on Saturday with Canada now playing Czech Republic! I would love to go to the game.............. but I'm here with my wife so 2 people going to the game at the prices I'm seeing with 4.5 weeks left on a 6 week trip... not going to happen. She's a hockey fan but... to a limit. We are planning to go to the square to watch it live in the same type of atmosphere anyway!
Here's a quick shot: |

Canucks general manager Jim Benning said Tuesday the team will make a decision on its goaltending before the entry draft in June and if Lack isn’t part of the long-term plan, the club will try to trade him rather than risk losing him as an unrestricted free agent after next season.

Cassels with 3 assists halfway through the game as McDavid's season is on the verge of ending.
Cassels with 32 points so far in 21.5 playoff games and has almost completely shut down McDavid.

I'm not saying don't get excited over Cassels but let's not ahead of ourselves.

Cassels' line is hemming them into their end almost every shift and Cassels has been all over him when they're not.
In Oshawa matched up vs. Cassels: 0 goals, 1 assist, -5 through 2.67 games.
In Erie where he was able to avoid matchup vs. Cassels: 2 goals, 4 assists, +4 through 2 games
