Would u guys do a Jensen trade to Buffalo for gregorenko straight up? I mean both haven't panned out in their respective teams maybe a change in scenery would help.

murd0c 06-03-2015 12:52 PM

Oh ya in a heart beat

Absolutely yes, I'd even throw a draft pick their way to make it happen.

I would trade Bonino to them as well if they wanted him.

Do you need to sign up with credit card?

Gotta love it when fans pretend to run the team with their monopoly money. :fuckthatshit:

Once I entered my promo code the payment portion disappeared and I hit finish.

So no CC needed.

He's improved his defensive game (though still inconsistent) and still has quite a bit of potential. Keep in mind, he's just 22 years old.

I think the potential has gone out the window. He has size, he skates well, and he has a good shot, but his defensive game isn't there, his physicality is non-existent, and his confidence is now completely shot.

IMO, he'll be heading back to Sweden next season.

Jensen plays LW or RW, so Cassels and McCann aren't really competing with him, but it's obvious that Gaunce, Shinkaruk, Baertschi, Conacher, and Grenier are all ahead of him at this point and that's just in Utica.

Obviously we would, but why would Buffalo?

Pope Francis received an unusual gift Wednesday — a custom Vancouver Canucks jersey, with his name on the back, from newlywed B.C. couple Joseph and Marion San Jose.

The San Joses, who are honeymooning in Rome, got to meet the Pope as part of a tradition for newlyweds during the Wednesday general audience, which they had tickets to attend.

"If you are able to prove that you had been married … in the Catholic Church within two months and show up wearing wedding garb, then we got to sit in a special place and meet with him personally," said Joseph San Jose via Facebook.

The couple said the Pope seemed surprised and enthusiastic when they presented the jersey, No. 15, to him.

Marion San Jose tried to explain to the Pope in Spanish about how it was a hockey jersey. According to them, the Pope said, "Yes! Hockey! Hockey!" before blessing them and moving on to the next couple.

Right-winger Brad Richardson currently has the No. 15 jersey.

Pope signed to 1 year deal, currently plays for Vatican but will report to camp in Sept :troll:

Nabatron 06-03-2015 06:38 PM

the reason I brought up the Jensen for Grigorrenko or however the fuck u spell it is that both seem like out cast in eachothers systems. Maybe both need a difference change in scenary to get there careers started, maybe another Kass/cody trade.

Also I was listening to 1040 today and Johnnys pizza guy called in and he kind of brought up a trade for grigorrenko. But it wasnt for jensen it was for lack striaght up. Sekeres said Buffalo wouldnt do it because they like grig too much. But another scenario I could see happening potenially, which to me seems like it would be a decent trade propsal would be:

Lack + Jensen for Grig + 2015 2nd round pick

Buffalo gets a potential starting goalie with an up and coming forward. While Van gets a big centre and a 2nd rounder which they do not have this year...

Thoughts?

Tim Budong 06-03-2015 06:51 PM

Sbisa heckled while signing autographs? : canucks

Two days ago I was leaving Cactus Club (yaletown) with my wife when we saw a few people standing around someone, it was Luca Sbisa of the Canucks. He looked to be leaving when some fans caught up to him and asked him to sign their phones, cases, etc and he was really nice about it. Then these group of guys walk by and the first thing you hear is "SBISA WORK ON THOSE FUCKIN TURNOVERS" and a burst of laughter. He looked to be taking it well and laughing a bit himself but it honestly didn't look funny to him. Have you ever seen Sbisa (or any canuck) get heckled in Vancouver? those guys weren't too harassing but I feel like that's the last thing you want to say to someone playing for your team. Just wanted to share

Jmac 06-04-2015 10:52 PM

Why is it good?

If someone cut me a $10M cheque even if I were mediocre-to-bad at my job, that's not my fault.

68style 06-04-2015 10:54 PM

How is that good?

You like it when people publicly harass a guy who's just trying to do his job? I mean even if it's true there's no need to belittle him like that. That's really unfortunate IMO.

Tim Budong 06-04-2015 10:57 PM

becuz sbisa sucks

thank you
i dont have to defend myself

true its not his fault being offered stupid amounts of money...but fck sbisa

punkwax 06-04-2015 11:19 PM

Sbisa shit the bed a lot last season but he's young and was learning a new system. I face palmed as much as the next fan but will withhold final judgment for now.. plus I've been around the RS Canucks thread long enough to observe that everyone piles on the latest whipping boy :lol
