really curious to see what JB has in stored...

especially wanting to see him pull a miracle and move Ryan Miller

Nabatron 06-09-2015 09:02 AM

^its ok cuz then its draft and free agency!

Obsideon 06-09-2015 08:08 PM

It's most likely going to be Lack that gets moved, most value and he won't want to wait for Miller's term to expire.
Here's to hoping Markstrom is ready.

CRS 06-09-2015 08:11 PM

Rather trade Miller for nothing than trade Lack.

JesseBlue 06-09-2015 08:24 PM

Rather have them do nothing tbh... Let the internal competition begin.

Jmac 06-09-2015 08:25 PM

Glendale trying to back out of their deal with the Coyotes :lawl:

The saga continues

Can't believe the council vote failed all those years back when they could have cut it off.

The problem there is Lack could be lost for nothing after next season, end of his contract and no cap space to have Miller and him under a new contract

We'd lose one of them to waivers in all likelihood. If Miller were sent down and not picked up off waivers, would be a $5.05M cap hit still.

just like the current management and people in charge at the moment?

brb sbisa 3.6m for 3 years
brb miller 6m for another 2 years
brb 2.6m for a 4th line dorsett
brb dumping garrison for next to nothing for linden fucking vey

6o4__boi 06-10-2015 06:54 AM

lol it is what it is

hoping the canucks make some moves at the draft
and pretty much expecting them to do nothing

seems that teams picking 3-10 are willing to part with their picks if the price is right.
hopefully it'll be an interesting draft

jeedee 06-10-2015 07:00 AM

wonder what the return for lack will be

it'll be a huge fail if the canucks come into October with the same old, slow and stale core...

Given how most of them are under contract with a lot of them having some form of no trade clauses or are over paid based on performance from last season or their age, I am not holding my breath that JB is able to move them without retaining salary like on the Luongo trade.

JB, please prove me wrong.

Probably changed their minds after missing out on McDavid and Eichel. :lawl:

Mike Oxbig 06-10-2015 03:09 PM

Lol look at those hardcore Utica Comet fans, more passionate than Vancouver Canuck fans

Mike Oxbig 06-10-2015 03:17 PM

1-0 utica

btw where is mike richards?

JesseBlue 06-10-2015 03:50 PM

The return for lack will be a 3rd unless that is also the asking price for miller. My dream is a great #1 dman and dont care the aav...

I dreamt that we shipped bieksa and higgins for phaneuf which is not great (for both sides) but i maybe down with that

cdizzle_996 06-10-2015 04:22 PM

My favourite was the Luongo salary dump, just to sign another goalie for 1.5 more!

Comets win 3-2 it was a pretty decent game as well.

Are all of the comets players Canucks property or is are some other teams players like has happened in the past?

Tim Budong 06-10-2015 06:45 PM

Glendale voids the arena deal for the Coyotes
