Considering he had about zero leverage, this isn't too surprising.
What I like is that his provides a bit of incentive for Vey to show that he really belongs in the NHL. He should have no issue on this team, especially how it's constructed with about 20 3rd/4th liners. Given that he's supposed to be an offensive puck-possession player, there's a chance for him to play behind Henrik if he plays close to his potential. That's optimistic thinking, but not outside the realm of possibility given the scenario that is the Vancouver Canucks.

Calgary also wanted the Coyotes 1st round pick to take Riberio off Arizona's hands. Riberio has had a number of off ice issues and substance abuse problems, thats why Calgary attempted to get the Coyotes 1st round pick thinking they would want to save money and not buy him out instead.
Ribeiro was a complete fucking mess last year, I don't know why any team would want to have anything to do with him at all
Guy looks like a J lol. I was expecting him to sign with the KHL or something.
EDIT: i'm surprised he put up 47 pts last season, with Phoenix. I guess the Preds are hoping he'll keep that coke/meth/h take your pick at a distance while boosting their offence.

Just look at their stats in the past four years compared to Schneider.
Considering that Schneid's hasn't played more than 33 games per season in his entire career and when we got a glimpse of it last year with his 45 game season he went 16-15-12.

I would take Rinne over him too.
Dude...he played for New Jersey!
They were 4th worst for goals scored, but 6th best for goals against. He wasn't the problem, the team not being able to score was.
