I would've liked Booth at that salary ... $4.25M for post-decapitation Booth was at least twice as much as he's worth.

I'm still not happy about letting Santorelli walk. He was one of our best players last season even though it was such a mess.

I can see what you're trying to say now but that's still an assumption. There's no definitive proof that he didn't want to play here and be loyal to his hometown team.
