| Older 850i BMWs
I've always thought these cars looked so beautiful.
When I lived in Deep Cove years ago there was a black 850i with a body kit and fat rim that looked just so low, wide and elegant 1990 BMW 850I V12 engine, 330HP, Auto, fully loaded, black leather hea
Now look how cheap they are! I'm guessing that V12 is pretty expensive to fix and just guzzles back the gas to the tune of sub 10 mpg!
When that car was new gas was like 39.9 cents a litre.
Pulling the V12 and the auto and putting in a 2JZ or a 351w based Ford V8 would make for a sick project car!!!

There are 2 unwritten rules on this forum that I've become aware of:
1.) Do not cite anything from Van City Buzz
2.) Do not pursue anything from Tyee Imports
That said, between the deals on the 8 Series and the Porsche 928, I don't know why I don't own either one at this juncture.
I'm thinking of putting the V8 from the 8 Series into a 928 and calling it a 928 Series

I would love an 8-series at some point, though I'd dump the existing engine and wiring and replace it with a more modern, slightly more reliable one. Maybe the N74?
And for the record, that ad is incorrect. The M70 of that year put out less than 300hp, not the number quoted in the ad.

If you can't afford the maintenance on such cars just don't own them....
Buy a Corolla and drop your V8 Ford in it

This should qualify for collectors plates if one can find the original wheels. The wheels make or break this thing. There have been some really bad ones out there because of this.
Recall 10 years ago one of these parked a few spots from mine. My neighbor's wife drove it and damn was she absolutely gorgeous. She's probably the same age as Pamela Anderson now..
Don't want to sound like Timpo, but 300hp from 5.0L is pretty lame. Never heard one of these at full throttle before though.
If iicrc, Mr. Bez wasn't involved in this one, so screw it.
