WRX STI Hatch Vs G37 What is better and faster??

Hey guys so me and my friends were having a debate on what is better A 2 door G37 S auto VS. A WRX STI? Lot of people say the G37 can out take a WRX STI no problem but some say WRX STI FASTER. :/

Just wanted to know what are your guys thoughts because I am debating to get one out of these 2 cars. Of course there are pros and cons for each but just wanted to see what the RS opinions are.

Requirements:

Speed/ Luxury/ Space to go road trips ( comfortable at least ) because I do go down to the states often.

Your feed back would be greatly appreciated thanks

Faster in what regards?

0-60?
Top speed?
How quickly the tank will run dry?
Around the 'Ring?
Between Captain Happy Bubble and Wings?
Which one breaks down first?

As for what's better... I absolutely detest the G35/G37 (sorry G, and the rest of you who own one ). So from that, I'd have to say the best car you can buy is a '97 Saab 900 Turbo.

Or an E36 with an engine swap.

You answered your own question. Your three requirements are speed, luxury, and space. You go on roadtrips often, and you really seem to care about the 1/10th of a second difference to 60.

Get a WRX STI hatchback. It is large enough for cargo and people, and has a throaty FI boxer engine. The interior has cheaper plastics, although you can get it with navigation and has some nice alcantara/leather seats.

Get a car because you like it, not because other people like it.

Test drive both and see what you like better.

First, if you're going to be playing some type of smash up derby get a cheaper, older car. That being said...

The G37 has the weight advantage (heavier) for this type of activity. However, Subaru is known for its traction, nimbleness and safety. If you're a half decent driver you should be able to mostly evade the G37 while also staying safe.

Just curious, are you running in an organized event? PNE?

G37 isn't spacious at all compared to an STi hatch. It's a case of you have only have 2 of the 3, so pick the most important 2 and shut the fuck up.

I don't thing any of that really matter. From his posts, I think the video above answers what he "really" wants to know.

STi

Speed & luxury can always be improved with aftermarket parts, but you can't upgrade space.

you clearly have a g37 already, just get over the fact that the g35/g37's have the looks but not the performance. G's are not fast, they are fat.

you can't compare NA to FI, 1k of performance mods on the FI will give well over 70whp on most FI cars. You're lucky to get even 20whp with 2k of performance mods on a NA.

Haven't driven the G37 but i own a 06 G35, if you plan on going on lots of trips i would recommend something else, the mileage is crap. Look into a mid size hybrid, will have room, be cheap on fuel and you're less likely to race like a douche
