2009 S2000 rough idle/stalling

So here's the problem, 2009 s2000 with 9,100 kms only used for few days during summer season. First time starting it this season and at first it idles fine at 1k then after a minute, the idle starts dropping then going normal again. It will do this for a minute before it stalls. I start it back up and same thing happens again. Haven't tried driving it yet. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I searched around and all I found says the same thing which is to clean the IACV, MAP sensor and TPS sensor but all of them have over 70,000 kms. I'm thinking that this is caused by not using the car a lot but I'm not sure what could be the problem. I decided to get opinions here before bringing it to the stealership. If anyone has an idea please help me out. Any help would be appreciated.

So has the car been sitting since last summer? How fresh is the gas?

Yes the car has been sitting since last September and the gas is the old gas I filled it up with before storing it

STAHP!

Drain the old gas. Fill up with new gas (max 5L). Check for the problem. If it's still occurring, replace the fuel filter. You can also check the voltage to the fuel pump but since it's a 2009 it's probably fine.

What is the easiest way to drain the fuel from the tank? I don't think the tank has a drain plug of some sort.

A hose and a bucket, or if you can get to the fuel lines easily you can disconnect it and run the pump to drain it.

Canadian tire / princess auto sells fluid transfer pumps for around $10, stick one end in the pump and the other in a bucket

if you filled it up with 94 octane to the brim before parking it, it should be ok for a few months but a year is pushing it

Yep everything is topped up as it goes through full service at the dealer before storage and no vacuum leak. I'll try Canadian tire or princess auto for the fluid transfer pumps thanks!

while you're dumping the fuel I'd change the filter as well, it's probably gummed up from sitting/age

should've used fuel stabilizer before you stored. Don't forget next time, saves you a lot of hassle

Your car is broken and will blow up if you start it 1-2 more times.

Sell it to me, I'll deal with it.

Wait, if it's stalling shouldn't it throw a CEL?

Gas will be good for up to 2 months. You can mix in fuel stabilizer if storing it for while. Have you tried adjusting the idle?

all hondas that sit for over 6 months always idle like crap
you need to run the car for about 30minutes it will be fine after that

my s2000 did the same thing, its because all the oils and gas has to work its way through the car again...

for next time try and start your car once a week at least to stop this problem
