The Strain (tv series)
Anyone watched the debut of this?
It's a book series by Guillermo del Toro (pans labyrinth) & Chuck Hogan (the town) iirc originally it was going to be a movie trilogy but ended up as a series
It's a different take on vampires, the premiere was this past Sunday, it has a good cast and the 1st episode was pretty good
I watched it, thought it was OK. Not the type of show I usually watch, but definitely the type of show my wife likes. I'll probably watch it because there's shit all else to see during the summer.
The dialogue is really weird... didn't expect it to be so 'comic book' style
I watched it and it peaked my interest a bit so I'll continue until it doesn't anymore.

I agree it has some peaks and valleys but overall it's entertaining.

the show is pretty entertaining overall. but there's one thing that does not make sense to me. in the beginning of the season, it took a considerable amount of time for people to transform into vampires. the process was gradual. but as the season progresses, i find that people are instantly transforming now.

lol yeah I guess they wanted to soak it in and were full of themselves
other than that though the Finale (that was the season finale btw) was pretty good, I was hoping the season would last at least through the winter but I guess they didn't want to compete with The Walking Dead which starts next week
